Married To The Blind Heir (by Tessa Galvin) novel Chapter 212

Chapter 212

Eliana wiped her lips with the back of her hand. Seeing the bloodstain, she glared at him. You’re insane.

Theodore’s breathing was ragged. He thought, How else would she understand how much this hurts?

He asked, Did Anthony poison your mind while I was gone?

Eliana snapped, Don’t drag innocent people into this.

Innocent?Theodore nearly laughed. That word felt like a cruel joke. He thought, Anthony must have fed her lies to push her this far!

What did he do to you?he pressed.

He helped me,Eliana said coldly, while you were cozying up with your secretary.

Theodore’s voice dropped, rough with restraint. The secretary? Nothing happened between us.

Nothing?Eliana scoffed. Then why was she answering your calls and running your bath at midnight? Don’t treat me like a child. No, even a child wouldn’t buy that excuse.

Theodore explained, I fired her already.

Eliana snorted coldly, Typical. Use and discard. Just like

you.

The words detonated the tension between them. Theodore sneered, So you still blame me for what happened to your sister.

Although that wasn’t exactly what Eliana meant, the memory of that woman’s voice when she needed him most made her lose her reason. She snapped,

Yeah.

Theodore’s expression iced over. You treated her like family, but what did she see you as?

And you’re any better?Eliana sighed, disappointment clear in her tone.

YouTheodore’s jaw tightened. He couldn’t believe she would compare him to Hannah.

Suddenly, Eliana turned around and opened the wardrobe, pulling but a fresh set of clothes.

Despite his fury, Theodore couldn’t help asking, Where are you going?

Without looking at him, she answered; Hospital.

Theodore remembered Jayden’s words. Did something happen at the Therapy Center?

Eliana paused, then shut him out completely. Not your concern.

Theodore strode forward and seized her wrist. Why would you turn to Anthony instead of me?

Eliana met his gaze. I did call you, but the person who answered wasn’t you.

Theodore frowned, silently cursing Penélope for ruining everything.

Eliana looked down at his hand holding her and said coldly, Let go of me. I don’t have time for this.

Theodore spoke through gritted teeth, Eliana, I get that you’re upset about the Therapy Center. But are you blaming me for all this?

Blaming you?Eliana gave a bitter smile. I’m just not in the mood to play along.
