Married To The Blind Heir (by Tessa Galvin) novel Chapter 101

Chapter 101

Just as Eliana tried to turn her head, another gust of wind swept in through the window, instantly blinding her with a mess of hair,

When the wind finally died down, Eliana found a strand of her hair tangled in Theodore’s silver button.

She had to say to him, My hair’s caught in your button. Can you help me untangle it?

Bat Theodore draped his long arms over the back of the seat and said indifferently, Didn’t you say the act is over? So I don’t need to cooperate with you.

She heard Theodore say lazily, Do it yourself.

He was deliberately making things difficult. Eliana pursed her lips in annoyance and leaned over, bending her head to his chest to free her hair.

She was so close she could smell his unique aftershave scent. Eliana snapped out of her trance and forced herself to focus.

But the more she hurried, the more the strand seemed to fight back, refusing to release his button. She grew flustered, her face reddening and her hands trembling.

Just then, Theodore leaned close to her tiny ear and chuckled, Need a hand?

A tingle ran through her ear, and she instinctively flinched, baring her vulnerable neck.

Theodore’s eyes narrowed. He brought his lips to her neck but didn’t kiss her; instead, he moved to her ear and purred in a sexy rasp, Want me to help?

Eliana couldn’t take it anymore. She looked up and glared at him, voice shaking. Stop harassing me!

Theodore drawled as if intent on torturing her. I’m not touching you.

He wasn’t, but every time he exhaled, she had the illusion he was about to kiss her.

Verbal harassment is also still harassment,” she said.

Oh, then I’ll move away.Theodore shifted to the other side, forcing Eliana’s head to follow.

She had to grab his waist and pull him back. Just help me!

Seeing her on the verge of tears, Theodore smiled in satisfaction and simply ripped the button off, freeing her hair.

Eliana stared blankly at his shirt missing the second button, reminded of a popular campus legend.

It was said that if a girl obtained the second button from a boy’s uniform- the one closest to his hearton graduation day, she’d win his true love.

Theodore noticed her odd expression. What’s wrong?

Eliana quickly covered up. Nothing.

After a pause, she blurted out, Can I have that button?

Theodore raised an eyebrow. You reject my wedding ring but want my button? What’s with that fetish?

You wouldn’t get it.After all, Theodore was nine years older; it was understandable he sometimes fell out of touch with trends.

Seeing how badly she wanted it, Theodore gave her the button.

Chapter 101

Theodor My wife didn’t want my wedding ring but took my button on the way home. Any idea what that means?!

Felix: [A button? The one near the heart?]

Theodore looked down and typed. Theodore: [Yes.]

Moments later, Felix replied. Felix: [It means she wants your heart, not your money. Cherish her!]

Theodore still didn’t get it.

When they got home, they ran into Daniel in the living room and stopped to greet him.

Daniel asked with concern, Where did you two go?

Theodore answered truthfully, We went ring shopping.

Daniel brightened, Let me see.

Eliana instinctively hid her hand behind her back. Daniel eyed Theodore suspiciously and asked, Theo, are you just trying to fool me?

Theodore immediately held out his hand and then looked at Eliana.

She had to fish the woman’s ring from her bag and slip it back on.

Daniel examined it closely, then glared at Theodore in disapproval. Why’s the diamond so small? Are you trying to fool Eliana?

His indignant tone made it sound like he was standing up for his granddaughter.
