Suddenly, a large number of Martial League members rushed in from all directions, all armed.

Before coming inside, Matthew had already positioned Martial League members around the Morley Manor. Now, no matter which direction Oswald tried to escape, there was no way out.

"If any of you have no further business here, you may leave now," Matthew said, turning to the guests with a gentle smile.

"Yes, yes, we’ll take our leave," the guests replied, quickly filing out, fleeing as swiftly as they had arrived.

"I'll leave this place to you. Seize all of their assets," Matthew told Sylvan and the others, thinking that he had been out long enough and needed to hurry back to see his beloved Sasha.

"Yes, Mr. Larson," the three of them responded, watching Matthew leave before directing the Martial League members to thoroughly investigate any remaining Morley family members.

Returning home with anticipation, Matthew found Sasha sitting on the sofa, looking bored and holding an orange.

"You're back," she said as he opened the door, her gaze lifting only momentarily before she continued staring upward.

Noticing Sasha's gloomy demeanor, Matthew sat down beside her and gently asked, "What's wrong, Sasha? Are you feeling unwell?"

Sasha shook her head. "I'm fine, just don't feel like talking. I'm going to rest now."

Matthew watched her leave, puzzled. She had been so cheerful the day before, even that morning. When he had checked her pulse earlier, everything seemed normal.

Time passed quickly, and in the evening, Matthew made some seafood stew. The delicious aroma tempted Sasha out of her room, and she ate half a bowl before retreating back inside.

Matthew simply smiled. The next day, he'd insist on taking Sasha out for a walk to help lift her spirits.

That night, Matthew received a call from Sylvan. "Mr. Larson, key members of the Morley Family, including Oswald and Eldridge, escaped. We couldn't stop them," his voice was full of guilt.

"Didn't we have the Morley Manor surrounded? How did they escape?" Matthew asked.

"There was a deep well in the back of the Morley Manor that led to a long tunnel. The Morley Family escaped through it and then blew up the tunnel, risking a collapse," Sylvan explained.

Matthew frowned, but after hanging up the phone, he didn't dwell on it, confident that if he could seize the Morley Family once, he could do it again.
