Lock You In My Heart novel Chapter 634

Even though the appointed time to have lunch was before 12 o'clock, everyone was on holiday during the festival. So, they came right after breakfast which was much earlier than the time of the arrangement.

All of them were either bringing gifts or holding flowers, looking very happy to attend such a rare gathering.

The first one to arrive was Mia, with Micheal, who had a gentle smile plastered on his face.

"Happy holiday, Gabrielle and Mr. Morris! This is my gift for you. Please accept it." Mia put a big box in Gabrielle's hands directly, just in case she would refuse it.

Gabrielle took a look at it suspiciously. She wasn't sure what kind of gift Mia would give her. Based on her playful personality, it must be a surprise.

"Thank you, Mia. Micheal, happy holiday. Please come in." Gabrielle didn't think much about it and immediately invited the two into the villa.

"Happy holiday, Gabrielle. Here, this is for you." Micheal's gift was a shopping card from a relatively luxurious department store.

Guessing that this simple-looking card would most likely worth a lot, Gabrielle didn't want to take it.

"Gabrielle, since I couldn't think of what kind of gift to buy for you, I just brought a shopping card for you so that you can buy whatever you like. There's not much money in it. Please accept it, will you?" Micheal put the card on the top of the box Gabrielle was holding, similarly forcing her not to reject it as Mia did.

Gabrielle held a huge box with a shopping card on it. The card was small, but she felt that the box became heavier due to the weight of the card's value.

"Gabrielle, don't make that kind of expression. There's really not much money in it, only about 100000$. It's not even enough for you to buy a bracelet. Micheal is really stingy," Mia whispered in Gabrielle's ear while glancing at the card.

'100000$?

When had 100000$ become the cheap amount?' Gabrielle thought in disbelief.

Sure enough, for the rich people, money seemed to be just a pile of numbers without much value to it.

As for Gabrielle, this amount of money was so much for her that she wouldn't even know how to spend it.

There was no way she could accept such amount of money as a gift.

"Gabrielle, listen to me. Don't ask my brother to take it back. Micheal is so stubborn and arrogant that he would rather throw away anything he has given instead of taking it back. This kind of card is not registered and it's not password protected. Whoever picks it up can use it. Do you want to let it fall into the hands of other people instead?" After Mia said this, Gabrielle didn't think anymore and directly accepted it.

If Micheal wouldn't take the card back, she would rather keep it for the time being.

Gabrielle led them into the villa, saying, "Come in. Welcome to my home." At this time, Westley was playing a game with the two kids on the sofa. As soon as he heard them coming in, he stood up and walked forward to greet them.

Tammy also stood up and followed him, repeating the greeting speech Westley had taught her just now. "Mr. and Miss Robinson, happy holiday. I wish you all the best and to be more healthy, more beautiful and handsome."

Seeing the lovely and cute little girl, Mia was immediately attracted by her. She ran over and picked her up, exclaiming, "She's so cute! Gabrielle, when did you give birth to her? How come I didn't know that? Is it a secret?"

Suddenly, Gabrielle was dumbfounded and she didn't know how to answer. "Umm, well..."

"Oh, there's also a little boy here. Is he hurt anywhere?" when Mia saw Star lying on the sofa, she asked with concern.

This little boy's appearance was stunning even as a kid. He was so charming that he made many people want to pat his head. Combined with his calm and sensible look, Mia thought that he would have so much potential when he grew up.

"Yeah, he's our son and his name is Star. He has a wound in his waist, so he can only lie down now. And this is Tammy, the child of Westley's brother and sister-in-law." Gabrielle gave a brief introduction.

This noon, Gabrielle said that since there were a lot of flowers in the garden house, she wanted to cut off some flowers and decorate the dining room with them. Westley remembered everything she said even though she spoke absent-mindedly at that time.

Now that he volunteered to go there together, Gabrielle was naturally happy.

"Okay, let's go and cut off some flowers. Micheal, feel free to have fun and..." Before Gabrielle could finish her words, she was dragged out of the house by Westley.

"Westley, you are jealous again, aren't you? You promised me that you will not mope or get angry today. We have so many guests here to celebrate the festival. We should stay happy." Gabrielle stared at his unhappy face and sighed helplessly.

It was even more difficult to coax him than to coax a child.

"I'm not unhappy. I just don't have anything to talk to Micheal." In fact, Westley simply didn't want to talk with him. It was obvious by his expression alone.

"Well, you don't have to please him or anything, but you are the host here and they are the guests. If you make that kind of expression when the guest is here, he won't come in the future anymore. Would you feel good then?" Gabrielle looked into his eyes and spoke in a lecturing tone as if she was a parent talking to the child.

"Whatever. Let's go to cut off the flowers. I am only happy when I am with you." The moment he held Gabrielle's hand, the dissatisfaction on Westley's face instantly vanished. They went to the garden house.

"The flowers in here are still blooming well and so beautiful. I didn't expect for Sophie to take care of them carefully when we were away. Otherwise, these flowers would have died already when we came back. I am so thankful to her," Gabrielle said while cutting off the flowers she wanted to take away carefully.

"Flowers are affectionate things. As long as you pay attention to them, they will naturally bloom with fragrance and beauty. If you like them so much, in the future, we will build a bigger garden house to raise more of your favorite flowers." Westley suggested as he followed her and helped in accumulating the flowers for her.

"No, it's fine. Thank you though, but I am content with this." Gabrielle thought that a small garden house like this was enough for her to enjoy. What was more, a bigger one would be hard to control and she didn't want the flowers to remain untended.

Gabrielle only wanted to abide by the saying 'It's best to let nature take its course and don't force what you can't handle.'
