Leaving the Wrong Love Behind Forever novel Chapter 69

"You can rest assured; I have authentic and top-quality Peruvian balsam here. Feel free to choose," Charles reassured her with an immediate smile.

Sylvia fell silent for a moment before speaking, "Mr. Jacobs, I'm willing to offer you a high price."

Implicitly, she hoped to ease his sentiments with financial compensation.

His eyes dimmed for a moment, clearly understanding her intentions. He sighed and agreed.

"Mr. Jacobs, could you allow me to inspect the Peruvian balsam?" She had no interest in sitting down for tea; she stood up immediately.

"Of course." He didn't say anything else and led her towards a warehouse at the back.

After a while, Sylvia was incredibly thrilled.

She had finally found the Peruvian balsam she needed. There was no way she could express her gratitude without thanking him. With these materials, she now had confidence for the tea party next Friday.

Charles was very considerate, providing her not only with raw materials but also with many semi-finished products. Sylvia only needed to mix them directly.

"Sylvia, where have you been all these years?" He wrapped up the Peruvian balsam and handed it to her. In the end, he couldn't help but ask.

Sylvia avoided his gaze and said lightly, "I went to the United States and worked and studied there for a few years."

There was a painful expression in his eyes, a deep regret when he spoke, "Six years ago, when I heard the news of your death, I was heartbroken. I went to the beach every day, hoping for a miracle. But back then, I never believed you died just like that."

Sylvia looked down at her toes without saying a word.

"Sylvia, is your life difficult now?" he asked cautiously after a while.

"No, I'm not facing any difficulties," she raised her head, "I now own 50% of Gucci company’s shares, and I'm an internationally renowned perfume blender. I’m living well."

"That's good," he nodded, "As long as you are well, I’m relieved."

"Oh," Secretary Bridgewater seemed a bit sceptical, cleared her voice, and earnestly said, "Ms. Lancelot, Charles Jacobs is the golden son-in-law in the hearts of many women in Paris. I can see that his gaze towards you is different. He must be interested in you. You have to seize this opportunity. Mr. Jacobs is not only from a wealthy family but also a genuinely handsome and rich man!"

As she spoke, Secretary Bridgewater’s eyes filled with envy.

Sylvia couldn't help but laugh, "Then do you want to date him? Let me introduce you."

"No, how could he possibly like me?" She was frightened, and she didn't dare to joke anymore.

They chatted and laughed and returned to the company.

As soon as she returned to the company, Sylvia closed the office door and started to get busy.

With the raw materials, these tasks were not difficult for her. By the end of the day, she had already formulated several new varieties of her own.

In a good mood, she planned to personally pick up Chris and Jen from the Montessori Academy and buy them some delicious food to supplement their bodies.
