"Mr. Bridgewater really looks like his grandfather. He has the demeanor of a general. No wonder the Bridgewater Corporation is so successful now." Not long after, a family of three came to them, and the woman looked at Arthur and was full of praise.
Sylvia looked at her and turned pale.
It turned out that the woman was Cassandra of the Jackson family.
Cassandra did not hold her husband's hand but held her daughter Zia's hand. It could be noticed that she really loved her daughter.
"Miss Lancelot, hello." Zia greeted Sylvia politely.
"Hello, Miss Jackson." Sylvia nodded to her in return.
"Humph." After greeting Arthur, Cassandra glanced at Sylvia with squinting eyes and disdain, she snorted coldly, expressionless, and left immediately with Zia under her arm, "Zia, why would you greet that kind of woman? What made you say hello, hasn’t she made you miserable enough?”
……
All the woman's unpleasant and harsh words fell into Sylvia's ears. Of course, she had reason to believe that she meant to allow her to hear her on purpose.
Sylvia smiled indifferently.
After Cassandra passed by, she saw through everything. There was no need to be angry about her garbage behaviour, but what she didn't expect was that Dominic would attend with Fiona.
Dominic saw Sylvia and Arthur standing together from a distance, acting intimately, and standing opposite them were Brent and his wife.
That kind of position means something to anyone with a discerning eye.
He rolled his little eyes, first he greeted Brent and his wife, and then walked towards Arthur and Sylvia with a smile on his face.
"Arthur, how are you doing at work and how Is business lately?" He asked with concern as an elder.
"Sylvia, he is your biological father after all. Why do you talk like this? How can you not have a home? We are at home every day, waiting for you to bring the children over." Fiona was gentle and enthusiastic.
Sylvia looked at the woman's never-changing face covered in makeup and felt like vomiting.
The woman was truly a vixen. She speaks the gentlest words but does the most vicious things. She was so lucky to have survived in such a family environment.
"You both should either go in or leave." Arthur frowned and said coldly.
He hugged Sylvia's waist and could clearly feel the muscles on her body stiffening. He could only imagine how much Sylvia hated her biological father and stepmother. Not to mention him, he didn't have any affection for those two people whenever he saw them, even if they were there when he planned to marry Sheryl for Elaine, he had no feelings for them either.
After being scolded by Arthur, Dominic immediately took Fiona's hand and left, fearing that he would really drive them away.
A sneer appeared on the corners of Sylvia's lips, and he tightened his lips, his eyes as cold as ice.
