"Ah." Sylvia was so frightened that she snapped out and saw Charles's eyes full of lust as he aimed to kiss her lips. She exclaimed and instinctively turned her head to the side. Charles's lips fell on her neck.
The man suddenly hugged her tightly and kissed her snow-white neck, and his whole body tensed up.
"Charles, don't be like this." Sylvia struggled, but Charles's emotions were out of control. The woman he had missed for so many years was in his arms, and he was really reluctant to let go.
"Mr. Jacobs, let her go." As the cold voice spoke, a cold wind and high-pressure air instantly filled the entire ward, and the air seemed to be bone-chilling.
Charles raised his eyes and saw Arthur's gloomy face. He was startled and let go of Sylvia.
Sylvia ran outside.
The two men looked at each other with obvious hostility, and the atmosphere was very awkward.
"Mr. Bridgewater, this is my ward." Charles's eyes were stern, “and the implication is that you violated my privacy by coming here.”
"Yes, but I heard a woman saying no." Arthur showed no mercy.
Charles's expression changed. Finally, he calmed down and said calmly: "That's right, Mr. Bridgewater, let's have a good talk."
"What are we talking about? Do you think there is anything we need to talk about?" Arthur asked sarcastically.
Charles looked solemn, "It's very necessary."
"Then tell me." Arthur took out two cigarettes from his pocket, bit one on his mouth, and handed the other to Charles.
Charles waved his hand and refused.
Arthur suddenly became a little annoyed and threw both cigarettes into the trash can.
"If I am nothing, then you are nothing!"
"She is the mother of my two children."
"Haha." Charles laughed loudly, "Mr. Bridgewater, I really don't know how you have the nerve to say this. Don't you know how much you hurt her in those years? She almost died because of you. If you are still a man, you should take the initiative to leave her and let her live the life she wants. Unless you have other intentions, it is unforgivable."
Arthur smiled faintly and paced in front of him.
"Mr. Jacobs, what about you? Blocking the knife for her? I'm afraid it's a bitter trick you used. It's despicable to use this method to win a woman's feelings."
"Arthur, I have fallen in love with her a long time ago. I am willing to do anything for her, even if it costs my life, I have no regrets. I am aboveboard. What about you? You don't love her and you are obviously with other women. After giving birth to a child, you still cling to her and plot against her, just to satisfy your so-called self-esteem and possessiveness as a man. In my eyes, you are even more despicable. Therefore, I advise you, from now on, stay away from her, don’t hurt her, this is what a man should do, otherwise, I challenge you.”
Arthur's eyes instantly turned horrifying, and his face looked terrifying.
