"Yes." She had to admit, honestly, but she didn't want him to find out that she was flustered because she saw him kissing a girl named Amelia.
Charles smiled slightly, held her little hand tightly, and said gently: "Don't worry, leave the car to me, it has nothing to do with you."
"But I have promised to compensate him two hundred and fifty thousand dollars." Sylvia lowered her head and spoke softly.
"Sylvia, you are really innocent and naive." Charles's smile was a bit unpredictable and meaningful.
This woman would always be in a fit and lose her confidence only when facing Arthur. Otherwise, how could she be so calm as to have been plotted against by Arthur?
"It doesn't matter, I'll pay for it. Come on, let's eat first." Charles joked, "As long as it's your cooking, I'll always have a big appetite."
Sylvia smiled slightly, sat opposite him, and took care of him while he ate.
The moonlight was hazy, and the crescent moonlight shone in from the window of the ward.
Sylvia sat in front of the bed and helped Charles arrange the bed he was lying on very carefully.
Charles leaned on the bedside and looked at her.
Such a warm and peaceful time was what he had always longed for, and he was very excited.
"Sylvia, it would be great if you could stay with me like this forever." He spoke in a low voice, his tone as gentle as willow flowers floating in the air.
Sylvia smiled slightly and did not answer.
"Sylvia, do you know? I have been dreaming about this moment. Do you know how happy I am now?" He sat up straight and suddenly stretched out his left hand to hug Sylvia into his arms. He held her tightly as he spoke softly in her ear.
Sylvia was stunned!
"Sylvia, I love you." Charles looked down at the woman in his arms; her little face was blank, her lips were as red as blood, and her face was full of cuteness and innocence.
So, he took Amelia directly to him, and he happened to be at the Orthopedic Surgery Department for ward rounds.
"No, my stomach hurts so much, and I need to go to the toilet again." Amelia felt another pain in her stomach, shouted, and ran into a nearby ward regardless.
Who knew,
As soon as she ran in, she happened to see a man and a woman embracing each other. The man was kissing the woman's cheek passionately, and was about to kiss her lips...
It was so disgusting!
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I just wanted to use the restroom. I didn't mean to offend you." She immediately apologized with shame, ran into the restroom like a gust of wind, and closed the door.
Sorry, there's no other way else I will soil my pants.
