Bridgewater’s Manor.
Inside a bedroom.
Elaine donned a lovely dress, whimsically tossing Christopher's toys about like a sprightly sprite, letting them scatter across the floor with each toss.
She twirled her skirt in delight after each playful action.
Christopher, infuriated, pointed at Elaine, and questioned with indignation, "Why would you do that?"
Elaine, with her large, innocent eyes, cheekily replied, "Because I can. I like it."
Christopher retorted, "Do you believe you can do as you please? Do you consider yourself a Queen? Well, even a Queen doesn't behave this way. Let me inform you, you've crossed a line today, and there will be serious consequences. Do you comprehend?"
Elaine nonchalantly twirled her skirt once more, laughing carelessly, "Eh, it's fine to cross me. What can you possibly do?"
In the past, only she could torment Hendrick. Other than distancing himself from her, Hendrick couldn't retaliate, and Mommy was always there to shield her.
Christopher's face flushed with anger as he ground his teeth, finally discerning the devious intentions of this mischievous little girl.
Yesterday, he'd called Jen, asking her to journey to Old Anime City and retrieve Hendrick, who'd run away from home after being tormented by a girl named Elaine.
He couldn't believe the audacity of this wicked girl!
He might not be Hendrick, but she was underestimating him if she thought she could get away with such arrogance.
"Elaine, I'm giving you an order to pick up all the toys and put them away right now." Christopher demanded, commencing a countdown, "One, two, three..."
Elaine shrugged with a look of disdain and spoke dismissively, "Why bother pretending? You'll be in big trouble when Mommy returns."
Before she could finish her sentence, Christopher swooped in like a ghost and shoved her onto the bed.
The little scamp raised his hand and delivered a firm smack to her backside. "I'll teach you not to bully others and throw my toys around. Let's see if you dare to act this way again."
Elaine wailed loudly after the spanking, clutching her posterior, crying so hard she could barely catch her breath.
However, the fear of her stern father left her speechless. She dared not utter a word.
"Arthur, please don't frighten the child anymore. She's just a child, and she doesn't understand..." Sheryl rushed over and embraced Elaine, who immediately burst into tears the moment she nestled in her mother's arms.
"Be quiet!" Arthur's stern command silenced Sheryl. "Don't think I'm unaware of what happened yesterday. Elaine slapped Hendrick."
Sheryl remained silent, fully aware of her daughter's insolence.
The servants had already taken care of Christopher.
He wiped away his tears, approached Arthur, took his hand, and sweetly advised, "Daddy, we are still young. A few words of guidance will make everything better in the future."
Seeing Hendrick's subdued and sensible demeanor, Arthur let out a sigh. He picked up Hendrick, turned to Sheryl, and continued, "Today, Elaine will stand in punishment for an hour. You must discipline her properly from now on. If such a thing happens again, the consequences won't be so lenient."
With that, he carried Christopher and made his way towards the study.
