"Mommy." Jennifer finally smelled the familiar scent and was sure that her mother was back. She hugged Sylvia and started crying.
Sylvia felt more that the matter was serious. She quickly wiped her tears, patted and comforted her for a long time, then asked softly: "Jennifer, did something happen to you today? Tell mommy. Mommy will help you fight the bad guys.”
Jennifer sobbed: "Mommy, that ugly witch and Elaine beat me."
After Sylvia was taken aback for a moment, her heart felt like it was being torn apart and her eyelids were beating fiercely.
"Jennifer, is that ugly witch Sheryl?" she asked.
Jennifer burst into tears and told her about Sheryl and her daughter bullying her. She said it intermittently. "Yes, she was so cruel. She hit me on the back and pinched me hard. Elaine stepped on my feet with high heels. It hurt so much."
"Why did they beat you?" She asked through gritted teeth, shaking with anger.
"They threatened me and told me not to go to Bridgewater’s Castle in the future. They said I was a bitch and couldn't play with Chris and Hendrick." Jennifer sobbed and asked with big black and blank eyes: "Mommy, why? I am also daddy’s daughter. Chris and Hendrick are both my brothers. Why am I a bitch? Why can’t I play with them? "
"That’s not true. You are a good girl. What she said is not true. Sheryl is an ugly witch. What the ugly witch said is nonsense. Don't believe her." Sylvia immediately denied it, but her heart hurt sharply, and her whole body felt cold.
Has Sheryl discovered that Jennifer is her daughter?
Otherwise, why would she threaten Jennifer and beat her?
For a moment, she felt very scared.
She thought for a moment and dialed Sheryl's cell phone. She found this phone number from the record book the last time Sheryl called her.
After a while, Sheryl answered the phone.
"Hey, sister, what good thing can you do so late? Are you feeling uncomfortable after being driven away by Arthur? Do you want to see if Arthur and I are doing any good things?" Her voice was seductive and warm. With a proud smile.
Sylvia's eyes were about to burst into flames, and she asked sternly: "Sheryl, let me ask you, what did you and Elaine do to Jennifer today? You actually beat a five-year-old girl?"
"Sister, why are you so agitated? That little bitch is so hateful. He pesters Chris and Hendrick every day. He often comes to Bridgewater’s Castle to snatch Elaine's beef balls and treats Elaine's love. If you ignore her, I've long disliked her. It's normal to teach her a lesson. What does this have to do with you?"
"You are really despicable and shameless." Sylvia cursed angrily, "Jennifer is just a five-year-old girl. You, an adult to do such a thing to bully a small one. Aren't you afraid of retribution?"
