"Sheryl, I hope you are not stirring up trouble. You should know that I hate women like this the most." Arthur looked stern, but in his heart, he had already agreed with this fact.
Sheryl said aggrievedly: "Arthur, you already know whether Jennifer is Sylvia's child, right? Of course, it doesn't matter whether you believe it or not. Anyway, she is someone else's child and it has nothing to do with you. It’s not a big deal, it doesn’t matter.”
After she finished speaking, she turned and left.
Arthur curled his fingers and knocked the tea cup next to him to the ground.
When Sylvia returned home in despair, Aunt Donna was sitting at the dining table waiting for her to eat.
"Miss, how are you? Have you seen Chris and Hendrick?" She asked with concern.
Sylvia shook her head and recounted the entire situation.
Aunt Donna sighed and said: "Don't be impatient, just wait a little longer. After all, the old man and the old lady are old and have just returned in the country. It's normal for them to think about their grandchildren. Just let Chris and Hendrick live there for a few days. Well, after sometime, if you go over and say that you miss the children and take them back, I think the old man and the old lady are both enlightened people so they may agree. You are the mother of the child after all. They will not embarrass you. Besides, the old man and the old lady were pretty good to you before. You can be rest assured."
Sylvia nodded slightly when she heard this.
She has no thoughts about the old man and the old lady. She is worried about Arthur!
According to her intuition, this b*stard man seems to have changed his temperament recently and is very indifferent to her. She actually doesn't care how he treats her, but what she fears most is that he will suddenly have a nervous attack and hide Chris and Hendrick. For her, this is the deadliest thing.
And it seemed that Sheryl had returned to Bridgewater’s Castle.
If this woman really goes back, she will never stop acting like a monster. Chris and Hendrick will be in danger!
When Sylvia opened the door and walked in, Jennifer seemed to have not seen her, sitting blankly, with confusion and even fear in her big dark eyes.
She immediately sensed something was wrong with her daughter.
"Jennifer, Jennifer." She walked up and called several times, but Jennifer didn't come back to her senses. She was still holding the doll tightly and mumbling.
Sylvia was stunned seeing the situation of her daughter.
"Jennifer, mommy's good daughter. Tell mommy, what's wrong with you?" She had heard clearly what Jennifer was muttering, and asked hurriedly: "Who are they? Who hit my little one?"
She climbed up and took Jennifer and the doll into her arms, and kissed the child's forehead.
