Leaving the Wrong Love Behind Forever novel Chapter 112

"Did you dress like that to seduce me?" Arthur took another puff of his cigar. His eyes half-squinted, and the corners of his lips curved in a cold arc as he asked coldly.

Only then did Sylvia realized something is wrong. She hurriedly lowered her head.

She didn't know whether it was because of nervousness or loose buttons that the two buttons on the chest of her work clothes were loosened, revealing the snow-white skin and slender neck underneath.

She instantly blushed!

She immediately ran out and fastened the buttons, and then she walked in.

"Mr. Bridgewater, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I swear." She wanted to explain but found that something was wrong the more she explained, so she had to stand up straight, for fear that the devil's vicious eyes would see something wrong with her again.

"Well, something happened."

Fortunately, Arthur did not dwell on this aspect. He spoke slowly, put out his cigar in the ashtray, looked up at her, took out a red notebook from the drawer and put it in front of her.

"Take a good look."

Sylvia looked at the brightly colored red notebook. She instantly felt a bad feeling.

A grown man who uses a red notebook. Also, his whole body is mysterious and sinister.

Nine times out of ten, he will embarrass her!

She picked up the red notebook and read it carefully.

Looking at it, she almost vomited blood!

It turned out to be a ledger, which recorded the events between Gucci and the Bridgewater Corporation over the years.

Bills for financial transactions!

She stared at him with round eyes,

"Mr. Bridgewater, what do you mean?"

Arthur looked at her coldly and pursed his thin lips,

"You called me a sc*mbag?" Arthur inexplicably remembered that Hendrick had called him a sc*mbag several times. He became a little angry.

Why did her tone sound so similar to his son's!

"Sylvia, let me tell you, this is a debt dispute."

He sat upright and spoke in a serious tone, "It's like I built a house for a woman, but the foundation of her house belonged to someone else. In the end, someone else took the house back. Do you think I should recover the cost of building the house?"

"Of course not."

Sylvia immediately objected,

"That house and land basically belong to someone else. It was taken by your woman through unfair means. It is natural that that someone else wants those assets back. As for you, you are willing to be the one who is taken advantage of. You deserve it. So, suffer it yourself. If you are greedy for a beauty, don’t be afraid to spend money if you want to sleep with a woman.”

"What does it have to do with me sleeping with a woman?" Arthur is a little confused.

In fact, in these years, except for that night six years ago, he had never slept with Shery at all.
