Hector had noticed the way her eyes crinkled in joy after checking her bank statement. His smile deepened, but he didn't expose her.

Judging from her current mood, he figured she had forgotten all about the distress that had taken place back at the Jensen residence earlier today. With that in mind, his eyes darkened. He abruptly said, "I'm sorry, Shannon."

Shannon turned around to look at Hector, and he continued, "Although I saw how you dealt with Carla, I didn't fully believe you could resolve the Shaws' predicament. That's why I didn't stand up for you when Dad told you to stay out of it. I apologize for that."

Looking at her with a warm and gentle smile, he said, "But I'm now convinced that you, my little sister, are truly incredible."

Shannon's eyes crinkled again when she heard Hector apologize and praise her. She was clearly pleased by it, and his heart melted at that.

Thinking about Shannon's abilities, he realized he needed to slightly tweak the plans he had for her future. Initially, he thought she was in dire need of money. But now, after seeing how she earned three million dollars in one sitting, he knew he had been too narrow-minded.

That being said, no matter how good she was at earning money, as her older brother, he couldn't skimp out on giving her the allowance she deserved. He recalled the 300 thousand dollars he gave her yesterday and felt embarrassed by it.

Thus, after dropping her off at her apartment, he transferred three million dollars to her as well.

Shannon had just set her phone down after making a transfer of 1.5 million dollars when she received a notification informing her that she had just received another transfer of three million dollars.
