Shannon and Thalia's identities were never hidden from the Jensens.
After Shannon's arrival brought along all kinds of spiritual beings and odd little creatures, the Jensens and staff of the Jensen residence had long gotten used to the supernatural.
As the long-serving butler of the Jensens, Thomas had not only accepted these strange occurrences quickly but had done so remarkably well.
Now, hearing the young man's introduction, he naturally assumed the latter's actual age might not match his appearance.
Perhaps his scrutinizing gaze was too obvious because Sirion seemed to realize it. He quickly explained, "My name is Sirion, not Ion."
Though he was addressing Hector and Thomas, his eyes kept drifting uncontrollably toward Shannon, just like earlier.
Shannon raised an eyebrow slightly, while Benjamin's gaze turned cold. His sharp eyes now carried an unmistakable threat as they landed on Sirion.
Sirion sensed it too and awkwardly turned away. But moments later, he couldn't help but steal another glance at Shannon.
Hector, who'd been smiling just moments ago, now had a glint of coldness in his eyes too.
Compared to the two men beside her, Shannon was much more straightforward. She asked, "Do you know me?"
Realizing Shannon was taking the initiative to talk to him, Sirion's originally composed face lit up. He couldn't help but turn toward her. "I-I'm a huge fan! I didn't think I'd get to see you here! C-Can I shake your hand?"
His voice trembled with unrestrained excitement, but the pure joy in his eyes was impossible to miss.
This wasn't the first time Shannon encountered a fan. While she'd seen the sparkling exhilaration in their eyes countless times, it always felt a little surreal.
Slightly stunned, she was about to speak when Benjamin took the towel from her and grabbed her other hand. As if casually yet deliberately, he began wiping it for her.
