Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 2001

Levi looked at the now-aged Mariam, and a deep sorrow welled up in his heart.

"Mimi, I'm sorry…"

His apology was 20 years too late.

After the initial wave of sorrow from the siblings' reunion passed, Mariam finally noticed that Levi wasn't the only ghost in the shop.

The siblings cleared up the misunderstandings that had been around over the years and talked for a long time. By the time they caught up on all they'd missed and found Shannon and Benjamin again, night had fallen.

Levi briefly explained his plans regarding Mariam. "I'll ask some of my old friends to look after Mimi. As for Barnaby, I won't let him appear in her life ever again."

He also mentioned his inheritance. Though his death had been unexpected, he'd long written a will. After his death, his assets were divided into two parts, where one was donated to a charity fund, and the other was set aside to continue searching for Mariam.

If his entrusted agents failed to find her within a hundred years, the rest of the assets were to be donated as well.

But now that they'd found her, he'd make sure she got the remaining assets.

"Being able to see my sister today and resolve the knots in our hearts after all these years… I have to thank you for this, Ms. Jensen. Thank you for helping me find her."

Levi turned to Shannon and bowed deeply.

The latter simply replied, "If it weren't to fulfill my deal with Morton, I wouldn't have summoned you. Everything I did was to get your help. If you want to thank me, sign a one-of-a-kind autograph for him."

Morton hadn't expected Shannon to remember their deal. He was both touched because Shannon remembered her promise and ecstatic at the fact that Levi was standing before him.

Shannon watched as Levi spoke those words and Morton accepted them, a faint fourth house thread began to form between the two souls and bind them together. From there, it slowly extended outward.

Perhaps even Levi didn't realize that because of his heartfelt words, the three of them might truly become siblings in their next life.

Just as this thought crossed Shannon's mind, a new scene appeared before her eyes. In a cozy courtyard, three children were chasing each other and laughing happily. Suddenly, the youngest, a little girl, tripped while running too fast.

The two boys who'd been running ahead stopped at once and rushed back to her. One soothed her with kind words, and the other helped her to her feet.

Moments later, they were running off and playing again.

Their appearances were completely different from what she knew, but Shannon recognized them at once. The three children were Morton, Levi, and Mariam.

She'd just seen a glimpse into their next life!
