Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 1847

As Benjamin spoke, he raised his hand and released the black cursed creature, previously bound by the golden light. However, it simply shrank into a ball within the golden light.

Meanwhile, the black dust encircling the cursed creature would unconsciously dissipate upon contact with the golden light.

He stated, "This malicious creature isn't the one that had escaped from Draken Village."

From the looks of it, the malicious cursed creature that had escaped from Draken Village wouldn't necessarily return to Vlad's side. Instead, its activities would resemble the incident today.

Not only would it be hard to sense, but it might also covertly switch between hosts, just like the system did back then.

Albany, the system in question, was rendered speechless. "Why am I in this now?"

Benjamin thought his analysis would disappoint Shannon. After all, failing to locate Vlad meant the mission was still ongoing and that he would need to stick with her throughout.

She wasn't the least bit let down but appeared relieved instead.

"Since the mastermind is good at hide-and-seek, we should track down his accomplices first," she said, poking the emerald pendant which held the sealed black blood within.

Although the black blood remained undetectable within the human body, its energy and scent became unmistakably palpable once exposed.

As night quietly descended, darkness slowly enveloped Jamborough until the lights suddenly returned. Inside Universal Park, colorful, dazzling lights flickered on.

Lexie, wearing a magic robe, was directing Mike to take pictures of her.

After over a hundred photos from every angle, his hands had gone stiff, unable to hold back any longer. He leaned in and asked, "Isn't it enough? We've been taking pictures from dawn to dusk."

She glared at him. "Enough? The nightlight has just begun to shine. My good angles are completely different at night."

As soon as Mike rolled his eyes at Lexie, she shot him another glare, refuting, "Hey, watch your attitude! Don't forget that I paid you to be my photographer today! Is this how you treat your client?"

He muttered a complaint. "Yeah, a photographer with a five-buck hourly rate."

Lexie waved, signaling for him to buy it himself.

Seeing that, Mike seized the opportunity to relieve himself of his duties. "Hey! Let me look out for Heston. You know, I worry about him whenever he's alone."

As he spoke, he stuffed the cell phone back into Lexie's hands and rushed off with Heston.

Lexie stood there with a pout on her doll face, though she quickly found a spot nearby to start flipping through the photos Mike had taken of her.

To be honest, his photography skills weren't bad at all. No wonder he could handle part-time photography work; paying him five dollars per hour was certainly worth it.

She was engrossed in the photos when the light above her head was suddenly blocked.

Lexie looked up and saw a tall, handsome foreign man standing before her in a magic robe. He had blond hair and striking green eyes.

The man smiled elegantly at her and, in fluent Crisean, asked, "Hello, lovely magician. May I ask if you're here alone?"
