Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 1844

Jesse had already been on the verge of passing out due to the pain from the cursed creature tearing through his body.

After barely managing to hold on, he felt the black blood flowing from his face wriggling. At that moment, he couldn't hold on any longer.

His eyes rolled back, and he collapsed unconscious. His body fell heavily to the ground, and the people present were so stunned that they didn't react at first.

However, Bianca, though busy with her own tasks, noticed him fall and quickly extended a tail to gently support him. It was just a quick, brief action.

After confirming that the fall wouldn't cause a concussion, she quickly retracted her tail before it could get stained with blood.

Scott caught a glimpse of her small movement but quickly looked back at Shannon. Although he didn't know what was happening, he trusted that she could handle the situation.

Upon realizing that the originally torn wound, along with the mouth and nose, had been sealed and couldn't be reopened, the wriggling black blood quickly detached from Jesse, attempting to escape.

However, Shannon wasn't about to give it a chance.

She had been repelled by that disgusting creature and used lightning to disperse it, but this time, she intended to keep a trace of it.

If something that had appeared twice wasn't dealt with properly, it could very well show up a third time.

With that thought, she pulled out an emerald pendant. "Close all gates, and you shall seal!"

With this command, the emerald pendant released a chain of runes that quickly wrapped around the wriggling black blood, dragging it into the pendant. It was much like sealing the system from before.

Soon, the translucent emerald pendant began to darken and became murky as it absorbed the black blood.

Faintly, one could still see the black blood wriggling inside, attempting to break free from the stone's confinement.

Shannon, disgusted by the now darkened pendant, simply took out two talismans and wrapped them around it.

Meanwhile, seeing that both the black creature and the strange black blood had been controlled, Elda finally spoke in a deep voice, asking, "What's going on here?"

It was clear that she had a temper, but when faced with Benjamin, she had reined it in a little.

Shannon didn't answer her immediately. Instead, she bent down to remove the seal from Jesse's face after handing the pendant to Scott.

After carefully sensing and confirming that there were no further abnormalities in his body, she raised one hand, formed a mudra, and began to chant over the wound on his cheek.

"Pure blood, do not spill; impure blood, do not rise…"

The word on Jesse's face had automatically faded when the cursed creature had torn through his flesh. Now, his face was clean, with only the wound—a deep, jagged cut—still bleeding, looking rather gruesome.

With Shannon's swift incantation, the group noticed his wound stopped bleeding.
