Randy and Erica plugged their ears.
He hadn't seen Debra so worked up, but Erica got it.
It was the pregnancy hormones at work. Her own condition had been worse.
She caught Randy snickering and yanked his ear. "Quit laughing. Why did you buy all this? You nuts?"
She dragged him off, still griping.
Marion scooped Debra up, and she froze mid-rant.
"Yell at me in private," he murmured.
Pregnant, she couldn't fight back. They hit the bedroom fast. He set her on the bed gently. Pregnancy made her glow even more.
"You're crazy." She pushed against his chest.
He looked cool and controlled, but in that department, he was insatiable.
It had been a miracle for her to conceive two months after they ditched protection.
"Just a kiss," he said, grinning. "You think I'd mess around now?"
"In this, yeah," she said.
Debra heard the noise and came downstairs. She gasped, "Drake reacts fast. Express delivery from another city, huh?"
"Wait, Drake sent this?" Randy blinked. "Since when was he making baby products?"
"The Lowe Group does everything now. Baby products is a new project they just launched. I heard they invested a lot of money into it, and now they're sending us a batch of samples to try out."
She came downstairs and started going through the boxes.
Inside, there were loads of baby and maternity products, such as pacifiers, diapers, cradles, building blocks, toy trains, and mom gear.
"Damn," Randy groaned. "If I'd known, I wouldn't have bought jack. Could've mooched off Drake."
