"I've got something," Marion said suddenly.
"What did you find?" Debra asked.
"Rare gems," Marion replied. "There's a big display case on the first floor."
Debra remembered it. They'd seen it the first time they visited the Osborne Mansion, though they hadn't gotten a good look.
"The stones in there are one-of-a-kind," Marion said. "And I found a hidden passage leading underground."
"You went down there?" Jordan asked.
"Yeah."
"What's inside?"
"A gem corridor."
Marion described what he had seen. Glass cases lined the walls, filled with glowing stones. The hallway stretched deep, ending at a door.
He hadn't had time to check it out, but apparently, secrets were hidden behind that door.
"Do you think Erica is inside?"
"Not sure."
It could just be a vault for Enoch's collections, given his obsession with stones.
Debra piped up. "Should we wait for Randy to wake up and check it out himself?"
Erica warily eyed the doorway. When she saw Yvette step in, she relaxed a bit.
"I'm sorry to keep you here," Yvette said, dropping her usual crazy act.
She set down some water and snacks in front of Erica. "I had no choice. You'll need to stay here for more days."
"It's fine," Erica replied, helping her sit on the couch. "I know you're looking out for me. By the way, how is Randy holding up?"
"He got in a car accident looking for you," Yvette replied. "Luckily, he wasn't hurt badly."
"When can I go back?" Erica asked, worried. "I don't want him to do anything stupid because of me."
"Trust me," Yvette said, patting her hand. "Staying here keeps you safe."
