"Master? Only fools like you believe him," Fermin snorted. "Since you worship him so much, you can meet him in hell."
His men began their assault on the Illuminati members. In moments, the scene was a bloodbath.
Fermin remained impassive until a subordinate reported, "Sir, everyone is down."
"We're going to the Sharp Mansion," Fermin ordered.
His men quickly cleaned up the scene and got into a convoy of luxury cars.
That day, the streets of Orkgate were filled with the blaring of horns. People were confused, but such scenes were common in the city. To avoid trouble, everyone cleared a path.
The entrance to the Sharp Mansion was surrounded.
Liza, who was about to go to bed, heard the commotion and tensed up.
Lara quickly entered her room, and she asked, "What's going on?"
"Fermin's men are here. You need to come with me," Lara said urgently.
Her mind was blank as she followed Lara to a wine cellar in the basement. Lara straightened her nightgown and headed upstairs.
"Where's Liza?" he demanded.
"I don't know who you're talking about," Lara replied, feigning confusion.
Fermin raised his gun and shot one of the staff members.
"I'll ask again. Where is Liza?"
"I don't even know who you are. Everyone in our household is accounted for. Feel free to check."
