Chapter 257 How Dare You

Elric got hit first.

The moment the force struck him, both of his legs gave out with a snap, and he was hurled sideways. He crashed through table after table, wood splintering and chairs toppling as his body plowed through the room like a wrecking ball.

Adrian felt a heavy blow crash into his chest. His ribs cracked, and he flew backward into the stage, crushing every piece of equipment in his path. Metal shrieked, lights burst, and the speakers collapsed on top of him.

Josiah had a strong build and quick reflexes. He threw his arms in front of his chest just in time. But the impact still broke both of them. Bones popped. His body launched across the hall and crashed down far from where he started.

He was the only one of the three still conscious, but he was barely holding on. His eyes stared in disbelief as he staggered to his knees.

“You… How dare you hit us!”

It didn’t make sense. Leander didn’t even look dangerous.

But in one move, he took all three of them down–at Jeff Enterprises‘ banquet, in front of hundreds.

They had planned to deal with him later, when the party was over, maybe out in the parking lot. No one in their right mind would have caused a scene here.

This was Jeff Enterprises. Disrespect here was the same as asking for death. Even their fathers wouldn’t dare.

But Leander didn’t blink. He broke bones, destroyed furniture, and knocked the three of them out of the spotlight like they were nothing.

Skyler stood frozen behind him, eyes locked on Leander.

“He’s… an inner–level martial artist?” he muttered.

He had felt it the moment Leander moved. That wave of pressure. That surge of power. The way he took down Josiah, Elric, and Adrian with nothing but a flick of his arm–Skyler couldn’t do that even if he used everything he had.

He had never imagined that the man he’d looked down on was just as skilled as him. No, maybe

more.

“That can’t be right…”

While he stood there in shock, Leander lifted his chin and stared down at Josiah. His voice dropped to a calm, freezing pitch.

“Some people might be scared to act here. I’m not one of them.

“I can kill you here and now, and it won’t bother me one bit.

He kept one hand in his pocket. His gaze never left Josiah. His expression was empty, like the fight hadn’t even warmed him up.

Guests turned their heads. Every face was tight with shock.

“Who the hell is this guy? He just knocked down all three of them like it was easy.”

And at Jeff Enterprises‘ banquet, no less. That’s basically declaring war on the whole company. Has he lost it? Tons of Mornwick’s greatest back it up, and the ruler of Mornwick himself is the one keeping things under control.”

“Sure, he’s strong. But after this? He’s finished. Jeff’s people will crush him.”

The room buzzed with whispers. No one tried to stop the fight. Even with the tables shattered and blood in the air, they just sat there watching. Some even looked excited.

Plenty of powerful figures were in the room. Frankie. Gumus. Tommy. Men whose names alone carried weight in Mornwick.

If they wanted Leander dead, they didn’t need to lift a hand themselves. They only had to give the word.

“You son of a b*tch! I’ll kill you!” Elric finally snapped.

His body dragged across the floor, legs twisted and useless. Rage burned in his eyes. Hatred spilled from every breath.

He had lived like a king since birth. No one had ever touched him. But now? Leander had broken him. And he couldn’t take it.

“You’re dead! I’ll chop you into pieces and wipe out your whole bloodline!”

Adrian sat slumped against the wreckage, ribs broken, barely breathing. But his voice stayed sharp and full of venom.

Leander looked down at them both. He didn’t flinch. His voice didn’t rise.

“Really?” he said, quietly. There was no pity in his eyes as he shook his head.

“I was only trying to give you a warning. But clearly, you’re still too dumb to listen.
