Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 671

If it was not for Liam Wilford, then what else could it be?

Lindsey recalled that after Liam locked her up, she had never seen Allie again. Lindsey had been separated from the outside world, so she naturally did not know what went on.

The fact that Zayn had his guard up against Allie meant that he must have known more than Lindsey did and that something definitely went on between them.

As if reading her mind, someone pushed the door open to the mansion, which had been seemingly empty with just the two of them.

Ann just finished talking. When she heard the door creaking open, displeasure flashed on her face, but after seeing the person who came, she calmed down again. Although she still looked annoyed, she no longer had the same aggressive look she just had. "What is it?"

Lindsey turned to the door. At a glance, she saw clearly that the person who came in was the former butler in the Wilford mansion. He was a very old man. After not seeing him for a long time, he looked even older than Lindsey remembered.

He walked in slowly. Since he had been bending over for years, when he got older, he could no longer straighten his back.

He walked to Ann with a familiarly respectful face. His voice was as old as his appearance as he said, "Miss, the guest you are waiting for is here."

Ann smiled and looked delighted. She even raised her hand to fix her hair subconsciously, as if she cared a lot about this guest.

Lindsey had her suspicions and felt that it was Zayn.

In the next second, Ann stood up and waved her hand behind her. Lindsey just felt that someone strangled her neck from behind, forcing her to open her mouth. Then, a piece of cloth was stuffed into her mouth. The person behind her dragged Lindsey into a room behind Ann along with her chair.

Lindsey did not even have the chance to shout before she was locked inside a room, blocked by a white wooden door.

"Bring him in." Ann straightened the hem of her skirt and looked very elegant.

The old butler did not say a word, turned around, and invited the "guest" in without saying a word.

A few minutes later, Zayn was standing in the living room of the once-vibrant Wilford mansion. When he arrived, he probably brought a lot of people with him, but he was the only one who came into the mansion now.

Ann looked at the man in front of her. Even if she had not slept well for a few days, Zayn's vibes were incredibly attractive and made her want to fall in love with him again.

She had a fascination in her eyes as she slowly approached him. Her voice was sweet, soft, and charming as she called his name. "Zayn..."

Zayn did not give her a chance to get close to him. His face was like ice as he glared at Ann. “Allie Wilford, where’s Lindsey?”

His people had been investigating Allie's whereabouts for the past few days, but by chance, every time they were about to get her, this woman always managed to escape.

Zayn could never be at peace as long as she was still alive. Tonight, they followed the leads to the outskirts, but after a long time there, he did not find anyone. Inadvertently, he found that his phone signal had been blocked.

He immediately felt that something was wrong. By the time he found a signal, Quentin and Shaun's calls almost made his phone explode. To sum it up, Ann set a trap and kidnapped Lindsey.

Twenty minutes ago, his people found traces of human activity near the Wilford mansion.

The police had been focusing on suspicious people entering and leaving the city, and entering and leaving the country, so no one expected that the former Allie Wilford, who was now Ann, would be hiding inside the Wilford mansion.

Zayn, who had been looking askance at her since he entered, finally looked at her squarely for the first time. "I only regret that I didn't see you burn to death back then."

When he said these words, Ann finally exploded. Zayn said it in such a light-hearted tone, but it seemed to bring her back to that night.

The big fire at the seaside villa. The pain. The pain that penetrated her bones. Every piece of flesh on her body seemed to be melting off of her.

Her eyes were red and everywhere was red. She even smelled a weird barbeque meat aroma. After realizing that it came from her own body, Allie was simply dumbfounded.

She thought that she was really going to die then. That man did not care about her struggle and threw her into the fire, then turned her into a vengeful ghost. She was in pain and everything felt hot, but she could not escape.

Allie could not even remember how she ended up rolling to a field. When she woke up again, she was all wrapped up in gauze.

"My brother sent me to Honduras for plastic surgery. Do you know how many pieces of skin were replaced on my body?" Ann pointed to her face and asked Zayn.

Unfortunately, her unbearable past was not even worth mentioning to Zayn.

Of course, if he could throw her into the fire back then, this already meant that he hated her to the bone and was deeply repulsed by her, so why would he care? From the beginning, she felt like a beggar that just kept begging for his unrequited love.

How ridiculous! ‘Why don’t we go to hell together then?’

Both of them can become vengeful ghosts and no one would win!
