Saints Hospital.
Sieben looked at the ceiling while she kept chattering. Seeing the person next to her ignoring her, she whined, "Sorie...Sorie...Sorie...Sorie..."
She kept calling him rhythmically. Soren wanted to pretend that he was asleep, but he really could not stand her buzzing like a noisy little bee. He said in a gruff voice, "What?"
"Why don't you sleep with me?" Sieben sounded aggrieved. She could not fall asleep without him next to her.
Soren thought of the shock on the nurse's face this morning when she came in and saw the two of them lying in the same bed. The nurse even gave them a suggestive look, but she did not say anything.
He was eight years older than Sieben, and because Sieben was so childish at times, this age difference was invariably stretched some more. To others, it was not appropriate for them to be together.
Plus, they were in public, so Soren did not want to give Sieben a bad name.
Sieben was not willing to let him go. "Are you thinking about what that nurse said today?"
With his thoughts laid out in the open, Soren did not want to talk anymore.
Sieben looked up at the ceiling and blinked. "But I don't mind being with you...why do you always care what others think? Do you like that nurse?"
Soren finally stopped playing dumb this time and immediately retorted. "How is that possible?"
"Yeah, it's impossible because you can only like me...so what do you care what others think?" Sieben said it with a sense of righteousness.
Soren was almost convinced by her words. He paused before he said, "It's not good for you."
His voice was a bit low, so Sieben did not hear him clearly and kept probing, "What did you say? I didn't hear you clearly."
Soren sat up and said in a jarring voice, "It's not good for you!"
Sieben was silent for a moment this time, then pretended to be angry and asked, “What's not good about it?”
Soren did not know what to say. He had very good hearing and overheard those nurses chatting. They were gossiping that Sieben might be his sugar baby. It was all nonsensical speculation and Sieben would not necessarily mind, but Soren was furious.
She was his girl and he wanted to protect her, so all this gossip should not have been about her.
When he was distracted, Sieben began to mutter again, "Just sleep with me...I really can’t sleep by myself. Sorie...listen to me, okay?"
She even imitated Soren's usual tone when he coaxed her.
After saying that, she pretended to sigh deeply and said, "I know that you just care about me and you’re afraid that others would gossip that you’re my sugar daddy...blah blah blah…why don't you just tell them that I'm your girlfriend so you won’t get misunderstood like that?"
When Soren heard it, it took a while for him to realize what she just said. Soren jerked up his head and looked at Sieben’s face in the dim light. "What did you say?"
Sieben said, "I’m your girlfriend, right?! What, do you not want to recognize me as your girlfriend?!"
"No, no!" Soren was a little tongue-tied and spoke incoherently, "You...you never said anything... I...you...are you willing?"
Seeing him stutter like a teenage boy that had just gone through puberty, Sieben felt flattered. She tilted her head up and dragged her voice. "Originally, I was willing, but...you didn’t want to sleep with me, so let’s just forget it..."
Before she finished her sentence, the man in the bed next to her lifted the covers and jumped off his bed, then laid next to her without waiting for her to react.
"Okay, I’m here," Soren said in a calm voice. In fact, he was blushing, but it was not obvious in the dark.
After that, the two of them laughed.
They hugged each other for a long time. Sieben's mind was all over the place and she somehow thought of the dinner she had. She rubbed Soren's chest and said, "I wanna eat fried chicken."
Soren would not refute her at this time. He said gently but firmly, "You can eat it once you’ve recovered."
"But I wanna eat it now..." Sieben poked his chest.
Soren patiently coaxed her. "Once you’ve recovered, you can eat as much as you want."
Sieben squirmed around like a worm. "No, I wanna eat it now!"
Soren was thinking about how he could appease this princess when he suddenly felt a wetness on his neck.
He felt a tingling sensation up his spine and heard Sieben’s muffled voice while she kissed him. "If you don’t let me eat it, I’ll eat you..."
After she said that, she even gently nibbled his neck.
Soren’s breathing became heavier and repressed.
"Stop it!" Soren wanted to push her away, but he could not exert any strength on his arms.
Sieben did not stop kissing him and her hands started to wander around Soren's body. Soren grabbed her wandering hand, but somehow, Sieben's other hand slipped to a certain part of his body.
This girl said seductively, "Sorie, you’re so sensitive..."
