"Do you know who sent those people?" Shaun asked.

Lindsey shook her head. "I don't know...that’s why I’m so flustered."

Shaun just thought that Lindsey certainly did not talk to Zayn. He was sure that Zayn would investigate who was behind this after knowing about it.

"Leave this to me." Shaun returned to his senses. "Go back first. Dezi will be fine. You should be more alert."

Lindsey always had confidence in Shaun and left with her heart at ease. Shaun took out his phone and spun it around. He first arranged for someone to protect Dezi, then he hooked up his lips as he lingered on Zayn's number.

While Shaun was still deciding if he should make this call, his phone rang first.

It was Zayn Guggenheim!

For the first time, Shaun felt that Zayn could read his mind. Shaun let his phone ring a few times to test Zayn's patience and only picked up the call right before Zayn hung up. "Mr. Guggenheim, do you need something?"

"Yes." Zayn gave a short reply and did not care for pleasantries. He went straight to the point. "Arthur Evans. Does this name sound familiar to you?"

Shaun did not expect Zayn to ask him this question that was so far off from what he expected. He froze for a moment before he replied, "Yes. He's from Denmark and he's interested in working with Hemera. Why?"

Zayn's tone was so serious that Shaun unconsciously became serious as well.

Unexpectedly, Zayn dropped a bomb on him. "The people who followed Dezi and Lindsey yesterday were working for him."

Usually, if Shaun heard Zayn talking about Lindsey, he would try to irritate his business rival, but today, that was not the focus. He knitted his brows and said in disbelief, "How is this possible?"
