Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 474

Lindsey was sick for two whole days. The first day after she recovered, she went to visit Ginny.

The incident was serious and had become the biggest international murder case of the year for the Atlantic City Police Department. It was a case that had the attention of the Chief of Police.

However, Lindsey did not know much about it. When she arrived at Ginny's neighborhood, she was ready to call her, but she saw a familiar car.

Lindsey subconsciously looked at it again. The dark-tinted window slowly lowered because of Lindsey’s stare, revealing half of the man’s side profile with sunglasses.

Who else would it be if not Finn Moeller?

When Finn saw Lindsey looking at him, he smiled at her.

He was a very clean-cut man who was very popular with women, but Lindsey somehow did not like him and even felt that the innocence on Finn's face was a little fake.

Lindsey did not know what he was doing here, but it did not seem like he had good intentions, so she ignored his smile and turned to walk upstairs.

She rang the doorbell and did not expect the person who opened the door was not Ginny. A very competent-looking woman smiled faintly and said, "Ms. Juhl, please come in."

Lindsey walked in with some hesitation. "Who are you?"

"My name is Shay. I’m responsible for Ms. Young's safety." She brought Lindsey to the living room, where Ginny was feeding the baby in her arms. When she saw Lindsey, she hurriedly stood up. "Lindsey! Come sit!"

Lindsey sat down beside her. The police officer named Shay excused herself and went back to her room.

Taking a look around, Lindsey saw the familiar furnishings and asked Ginny, "How's it going? Is everything okay in the past two days?"

Ginny laughed and said, “I’m fine. But why did you come out alone? Aren’t you afraid of being in danger?"

Lindsey was stunned by her question. "What danger can I be in?"

Ginny looked at her, but seeing that Lindsey did not react, Ginny gave up and said, “You saved me and Jared Moeller probably knows about it. You’re not scared?”

Once her baby was well-fed, she put it aside and said apologetically, "I'm sorry to involve you in this mess."

Lindsey did not think about it so much and thought that Ginny was overthinking it. “Nah, those assassins are in jail now and only a few of us know about it. No matter how far Jared Moeller’s reach is, he still won’t touch me. His target is you and the situation with his family is enough of a headache for him, so why would he go through all the trouble to deal with me?"

Ginny heard this and thought it made sense. Even though Lindsey sometimes seemed to do things without thinking about the consequences, she was not dumb and had already thought through it.

On the other hand, Ginny was so immersed in this that she could not see it as clearly.

Also, with the two guardians, Shaun and Zayn, watching over Lindsey, Jared Moeller would have to think twice before making a move on Lindsey.

As Ginny said this, she secretly stuffed something into Lindsey’s palm. Lindsey was tense and held it.

Ginny continued to say in her light voice, "That's a ring."

Lindsey touched the ring in her hand.

"Old Master Moeller passed away that night," Ginny said as she looked at her child, "At first, everyone was calm, but on the day of the funeral, Jared Moeller suddenly accused Terence of killing the old man. It was very confusing and they fought. In the end, Terence escaped from the Moeller mansion with me and the child, but he was seriously injured."

Lindsey felt that Ginny was looking at another person through the child.

Was it Terence?

"Later, he left his bodyguards to me so that they could protect me and the baby. I don't know what happened later."

Ginny finally lifted her head and smiled dismally at Lindsey. "They said that he’s dead. I didn't believe them at all. I hated him so much and haven't gotten my revenge yet, so how could he die in someone else's hands?"

She said that she hated Terence. The hatred in her eyes was clear. If it was not for the teardrop that fell unintentionally, Lindsey almost believed that she had nothing but hate for Terence.

Ginny was willing to use her life to protect their child, yet she hated the baby’s father deeply. Lindsey knew that nothing she could say would comfort Ginny, so she just held Ginny's hand tightly.
