Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 313

Zayn looked like he was at a loss of what to do with Liam Wilford because he could not find Lindsey no matter what he tried. The fact was that Liam Wilford was also forced to retreat by Zayn. Otherwise, why would he put Sophie and Lindsey in the same place?

If Liam did not happen to come by today, Sophie would probably already know about his plans.

Liam's fingers were clenched so hard that he almost crushed Lindsey’s shirt. "Stay away from Sophie! Lindsey Juhl, have you forgotten that you still have a pair of lowlife parents in my hands? If you dare say anything to Sophie, I’ll take more than just your heart. I'll make them accompany you in death!"

Lindsey gritted her teeth and was silent. She was already having a hard time protecting herself and only wanted to protect her unborn child. Since she felt that she would have to make a decision anyhow, she avoided thinking of those two people because she did not know if Liam Wilford had done anything to them by now.

Hearing Liam's words, Lindsey could not say that she was completely relieved. At least it meant that they were still fine for now.

"Oh right, Zayn has also come to Germany. You probably don’t know about it yet, right?" After Liam said this, he saw Lindsey's eyes lit up for a moment and sneered. "Stop imagining that Zayn will come and save you because he can't even find this place. If you dare to talk nonsense, I'll get Zayn to accompany you here as well."

"So, you best behave yourself." After Liam said these words, he suddenly loosened his grip on Lindsey and left just like that.

Lindsey took a deep breath. Her lips trembled and the corners of her eyes turned red, but she did not cry or scream. She just turned around and went upstairs step by step.

Mrs. Jacobson returned to her room earlier and she heard the argument outside vaguely. She could only sigh lightly.

Liam was pushing Lindsey to the edge. He knew that just holding her parents hostage would not be enough, but once he threatened to do something to Zayn, Liam knew that she would behave.

Before Liam went home, he went to the office again. These days, he had been busy dealing with Sophie and Lindsey that he neglected the company's affairs. Several senior board members were already discontent.

Even his father heard the rumors from somewhere and warned Liam about it.

By the time Liam returned home, it was already late at night.

"Brother." Allie did not even sleep and greeted him when he came back. "Why are you so late today?"

"I had some things to take care of." Liam did not want to say more. He ignored Allie’s accusations last time that popped up in his mind. Then took a sip of water and added, "I went to see your sister-in-law."

‘What bullsh*t sister-in-law…’

Allie slandered Sophie in her heart, but she did not show it on her face. She even looked concerned and said, "Is Sophie okay? That day, I...I haven't even apologized to her yet."

"It's okay." Liam did not care much and waved his hand. "She won’t take it to heart, you can rest assured."

"Oh." Allie nodded. She looked a little hesitant and a little scared.

Liam was about to go upstairs. When he saw her like this, he stopped and said, "What do you want to say?"

Allie raised her head. Her face was still bruised and she looked pitiful. "Brother, Smith just told me that Shaun Juhl is awake. He really didn’t die. What should I do?"

Liam was stunned. He had forgotten about this matter completely.

Initially, he was furious with Allie about this, but since it was already done, there was no use in blaming her.

This time, there was a long silence over the phone.

"I don't know how to say it. You must think I'm a wicked person, but many things are not what you think. That's all I know for now and I'll think of the rest later."

Allie finished her sentence and hung up the phone. Zayn just fell into a long meditation.

Zayn had succeeded in getting Terence Moeller's support and this cooperation was the biggest help he could get.

A ruthlessness flashed in his eyes. Zayn opened his laptop and sent out an encrypted file to many important people in Germany.

That night, Liam was woken from his sleep. The ones who knocked on the door of the Wilford mansion were police officers.

"Mr. Wilford, you are suspected of multiple illegal cross-border activities. Please come with us to cooperate with our investigation." The police officer holding the arrest warrant looked at Liam with a serious face.

Like hearing some kind of joke, Liam froze, then laughed mockingly. "You mean, me?"

"Yes, Mr. Liam Wilford. Please cooperate with us."

Liam was still in his pajamas. When he heard this, he changed his stance and narrowed his eyes dangerously. "Where’s the evidence that I’ve committed a crime?"

A female officer behind the man stepped forward with a tablet in her hand and held it up in front of Liam.
