Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 299

Someone was already waiting for Liam a long time ago. Liam sat down casually and the other person said respectfully, "Sir, Ms. Juhl is very quiet these two days and spends more time in her room. Tonight before you came, she said her stomach hurt and asked for a doctor."

Liam's eyes narrowed. "Where did the doctor come from?"

"The doctor you arranged was not here for the past two days, so we had to find a doctor from a nearby village."

Liam's face instantly turned glum. “Who allowed you to make these decisions yourself?”

"The situation was urgent and you said to ensure Ms. Juhl's safety." The subordinates had no choice. If something really happened to Lindsey, none of them could afford to pay the price.

Liam let out a deep breath. He knew that he could not blame his subordinates and said, "Have you checked out this doctor’s background? Are they tight-lipped? Have you sent anyone to keep an eye on them?"

"Don't worry, sir." They were not so careless.

After this ordeal, Liam felt a vague pain in his wound. Before he could stand up, his phone rang.

"Sir, the Young Lady is missing." Smith's gloomy voice came from the other end of the phone.

This night was so chaotic that Liam almost forgot about Allie.

Thinking of that mysterious person, Liam suddenly could not be sure if Allie's disappearance was Zayn's doing.

......

Zayn ditched Smith's men and after he returned to the hotel, he received a message from Zion, who split up with him earlier.

It was just before dawn. Zayn did not sleep all night, but after listening to Zion’s report, he could not sleep.

He told his subordinates to standby at the hotel and Zayn drove himself to the other end of the city.

Zion looked at the woman on the ground with her hands and feet tied and her mouth gagged. She kept struggling, but no one cared about her.

"This b*tch is wicked. Don't go near her."

At that time, after Allie’s car was surrounded by them, those who were protecting her were first eliminated. Allie looked scared to death, but when they dragged her out of the car, Allie bit one of them fiercely and did not let go. She even bit off a piece of flesh from the back of the man’s hand.

The woman's mouth was stained with blood and the man who was bitten kept wailing. Zion looked at the woman's sweet face and got the chills.

Allie lowered her eyes and looked at the ground. They had gagged her so that she could not even speak. Her pounding heart finally calmed down after the entire day.

However, when she thought about why she had ended up in this situation, her resentment towards Liam rose exponentially.

If Liam did not leave her alone and if he did not protect Sophie, Allie would not have been caught by these people in this hellish place.

Allie could not help but start to wonder if Liam had known that someone would ambush them halfway, so he wanted to use her as a target to attract the other party's attention.

Once the seeds of suspicion were planted in Allie’s mind, it only took a little speculation for it to take root and sprout. It would turn into a huge tree in no time.

The brother who used to love her was dead to Allie.

After she said this, Zayn did not say anything and looked understanding.

"What? Aren't you curious where Lindsey is?" Allie looked up at Zayn.

Zayn smiled lightly for a moment. Under the dim light, he looked so handsome like a Greek god. "Will you tell me?"

Allie was dazzled by his momentary tenderness, but she quickly came back to her senses. She hooked her lips and said, "I didn't do anything, so naturally I won't know where Lindsey is. You really got the wrong person."

Zayn sighed and was impatient. "You really are stubborn..."

Allie sneered. "What? I really don't know anything. I only like you, Zayn. It’s fine if you don't like me, but why do you have to insult me like this?"

"Ms. Wilford, why did you mysteriously disappear from Atlantic City International Airport? Also, shortly after you disappeared, how did Shaun Juhl and my young subordinate almost die in a funeral home in the suburbs? It's just too much of a coincidence."

Obviously, Zayn did not expect an answer from Allie. He did not even glance at Allie and turned around to say, "I didn’t intend to touch women and because you saved Lindsey, I also have more tolerance towards you, but you’re just too ballsy!"

By the end of the sentence, Zayn's voice suddenly became cold.

"You’re just an outcast." Zayn coldly glanced at Allie. His eyes were full of disdain. "I’m guessing that Liam Wilford will be reluctant to trade Lindsey for you, so I won’t even waste this effort."

His tone was light, but Allie heard something else in his tone and her eyes flashed with fear. She did not even think about the meaning of his words.

Watching Zayn leave, Allie suddenly called out to him, "Zayn Guggenheim!"
