According to Lindsey Juhl’s understanding of that vengeful brother of hers, things were not so simple.
The mysterious smile on Lydia’s face earlier also confirmed her thoughts.
Lindsey was considering this as her phone suddenly vibrated. It was a WhatsApp message that read, “Don’t waste your breath on these people.”
She quickly replied.
"It’s a waste of time for you to deal with this kind of person."
"As long as it's about you, it's not a trivial matter!"
It was obvious that Shaun Juhl was aware of everything Fenly did.
Lindsey was happy to see that someone finally taught Fenly a lesson for her.
"Thanks, brother!"
After saying this, Lindsey suddenly thought, ‘So this is how it feels to have someone backing me in the company.’
It was not bad at all!
Fenly was happy at the moment, but she could not laugh in the following days.
These project proposals were indeed very lucrative. The turnover rate was also good, but somehow, those clients just refused to meet her.
No matter what methods she tried, the final result was “let's see in a couple of days!”
Was this not an obvious rejection?
"Lydia, I don’t know how to deal with these clients for the time being. Can you help me out?"
Fenly was at the end of her rope.
"What's wrong?"
"It’s like this. These days..."
Fenly retold her situation.
She also felt that something was wrong, but she could not pinpoint it.
"It's not that I don’t want to help you. Look at these papers on my desk. By the time I'm done with them, you must’ve already thought of a solution."
Lydia casually touched her nose and looked at Fenly with sympathy.
"But..."
Lydia interrupted Fenly and said, "Alright, it's not much of a big deal anyway. It's still a long way before the end of the month, so you still have time to ponder over these cases!"
Her rejection was so obvious that Fenly instantly understood!
......
Someone was happy about another’s sorrow. Fenly was so anxious that she was like a cat on hot bricks. Lindsey, on the other hand, was delighted.
"Shaun, it seems that you’re more fond of teasing Fenly lately!"
Shaun shrugged and said, "Really?"
"Looks like I really can't offend you in the future. Otherwise, I probably won't know how I'll die."
Lindsey laughed. Her elder brother could truly hold a grudge.
Shaun looked at her smile and said solemnly, "No matter what, I can’t bear to lay a hand on you."
"I was just kidding! I know you love me the most!"
Shaun gently glared at her and said, "Even if it's a joke, you can't have such thoughts next time!"
"Fine..."
Lindsey mischievously stuck out her tongue.
It was only in front of Shaun that Lindsey could reveal her innocent and childish side.
Others saw the intimacy between the two and felt they were not just siblings.
"By the way, there’s a cocktail party tonight. Why don’t you accompany me there?"
Shaun was handling the paperwork in his hands as he asked the question, seemingly asking for her permission.
"But I’m not good at this."
Lindsey was talented in consulting and her performance was better than others in the company.
