After a while, Lindsey fell asleep and woke up in a daze. It was already mid-afternoon. After she woke up, Lindsey asked one of the maids in the Guggenheim mansion to inform Soren that she wanted to go out tomorrow.
The reason Zayn left Soren behind was to protect her, so Lindsey also wanted Zayn to feel at ease.
The strange thing was, Soren did not go over immediately to clarify with Lindsey like he usually did. This time, he only asked the maid to reply to Lindsey.
Looking at the maid's hesitant appearance, Lindsey thought of the angry roar she heard in the afternoon and asked, "What's wrong?"
The maid, who looked a little awkward, saw Lindsey's puzzled expression and said, "Ms. Sieben and Mr. Soren are at the loft, and they’re...umm...a little...strange."
Lindsey froze for a moment and wanted to ask how strange, but she thought about it and did not say anything.
Soren had been trapped in the small loft all afternoon. He felt that allowing this woman to follow him was one of the worst decisions he had ever made.
Sieben sat on his bed as she looked at Soren's furious expression and whined, "I'm hungry. I wanna eat..."
"Then get the hell out of here and eat!" Soren said angrily.
Sieben pouted her pink lips and said, "No, unless you agree to let me stay here tonight. Otherwise, I won't leave!"
After saying that, she tossed one of Soren's shirts to the side and added, "You can't kick me out anyway. I mean what I said."
"Then just starve!" Soren roared viciously.
Soren’s personality was similar to Zayn's. He was usually indifferent about everything and had few emotions, but Sieben had struck his nerve multiple times in one day.
The few things in his bedroom were strewn about on the floor. This was the first time Soren regretted his actions.
When Lindsey sent someone over, Soren and Sieben were in a standoff. When Soren was distracted for a split second, the girl sitting on the bed abruptly leaned over and wrapped herself around him.
Sieben caught him off guard and bit his neck. Soren was dumbfounded and paused for a moment before he yelled, "Get off me!"
He reached out to pull her away, but Sieben was stubborn and would not budge. Her slightly childish voice sounded a little coquettish as she said, "You're bullying me again!"
The maid outside the door was dumbstruck.
"Fine! You can stay here. I’ll leave!" Soren’s eyebrows furrowed. He really was exasperated.
Sieben refused. "No way! I’ll follow you everywhere you go. We’re just staying in the same room. It’s not like I’ll do anything to you."
The two of them were uncompromising. In the end, Soren agreed to let Sieben stay in his loft, but he turned around and went to Quentin’s place.
"Since you’re suspicious of me, isn’t it good for us to live together? Then, you can watch my every move." Sieben wiggled her legs and blinked at Soren's back.
The man's feet did not stop moving. Sieben also did not care to stop him because she knew that he would not leave anyway. Moreover, he could not stop her from doing what she wanted, so it did not matter which floor he lived on.
Sieben looked thoughtful as she laid her head down sideways on her pillow.
That night, Soren did not ask anyone to watch Sieben, but his voice startled the staff in the Guggenheim mansion that had not slept yet.
Lindsey slept soundly because she had decided to tell Zayn everything, so the pressure she felt seemed to have alleviated. She even thought of buying a gift for Zayn the next day.
"No thanks. They’re all fine." Sieben froze for a second. She refused Lindsey’s offer, but she no longer hid in the back and just lowered her eyes.
After shopping for a long time, Lindsey finally chose a mechanical watch and a navy blue twill tie for Zayn.
"I'm so tired!" Lindsey sat down in the rest area. Her belly was still not big, but after shopping for a while, she could not stand it anymore.
"I'm going to the bathroom. You two can sit here for a while."
Soren stood up and subconsciously wanted to follow, but after some thought, it was inappropriate, so he pushed Sieben and said, "You go."
Lindsey hurriedly waved her hand. "No, no, no. It’s fine. There are so many people coming in and out, so you guys don't have to follow. You can take a rest too."
Sieben stood up anyway. "Let's go."
She did not follow Lindsey into the bathroom and only stood at the door, leaning against the wall as she waited for Lindsey to come out.
Sieben did not have a phone nor anything to tell the time. Many women had gone in and came back out, but Lindsey still did not come out, which made Sieben wary.
Soren waited until he was anxious. When Sieben looked up, she saw the man rushing over.
"Where is she?" Soren stared at Sieben.
"I'll go in and take a look." Sieben got up and moved her limbs. Her muscles were tense.
Soren's heart surged with uneasiness as he watched Sieben go in, but in less than half a minute, Sieben came out looking glum.
