Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 208

Yvette kept telling herself to forget it, but she still could not help but worry.

Lindsey was carried into the car by Zayn. Before she could react, the car drove away.

"Zayn Guggenheim!"

"Why did you call me all of a sudden?" Zayn brought it up without a warning.

He held Lindsey tightly from behind. His heart was clearly surging with rage, but he restrained himself from hurting her.

Lindsey stopped struggling and settled down as soon as she heard that.

A few moments later, she said faintly, "I knew that your people would report to you once they lost me. I called you first so that you won’t look for me."

"You’re lying," Zayn suddenly said in a cold voice, "You know that with my temper, I’ll be more eager to look for you after the call."

That was exactly what happened.

Lindsey was speechless. She made that phone call to Zayn because of a sudden thought that came to her. She did not dwell into the deeper meaning behind that thought.

There was an eerie silence between the two.

After a long time, Zayn turned Lindsey’s head towards him and said, “Tell me that you don't want this child because you have your reasons. I’ll forgive you if you tell me."

‘I’ll forgive your concealment and deceit. I’ll forgive you for taking matters into your own hands like this. I’ll forgive your recklessness.’

Lindsey was silent for a long time. She only looked at Zayn and concealed the shock in her eyes very well.

The fact that Zayn said this made her think that he was aware of everything.

When Lindsey did not answer, Zayn suddenly lost his patience and roared, "Answer me!"

Lindsey shuddered and instantly snapped back to her senses. Knowing how unrealistic her speculation was earlier, she sneered. "What other reasons can I have? Zayn Guggenheim, why do I even need your forgiveness?"

"Fine." Zayn only said this one word, which he repeated, "Fine...fine...fine!"

Lindsey lowered her head to conceal her eyes. No one knew what it felt like to see someone shattering another person’s happiness, but now that the roles switched, she did not feel the slightest bit of joy.

The phone was still in her hand, Lindsey repeatedly stroked the simple stripes on the side as Zayn's breath almost intertwined with hers.

For the first time, Lindsey deeply regretted what she had done.

Entering a partnership with Liam Wilford was like making a deal with the devil.

Lindsey held Sophie Leger’s life in her hands to threaten Liam Wilford not to act rashly. Naturally, Liam also held something over Lindsey’s head so that she would be obedient.

The video earlier was Liam’s trump card.

The video was a warning to Lindsey not to be reckless and not to forget their agreement.

Lindsey suddenly felt like being selfish and did not want to care about the survival of those two people. All she wanted was to keep this child and watch him grow up.

In the end, she could not bear to do so.

Some favors could only be returned by sacrificing herself.

Lindsey and Liam had been maintaining a delicate equilibrium, but the arrival of this child shattered this balance.

Her heart was gradually shifting towards the child she had never met because of her motherly instincts and the reason why Liam was so nervous was to prevent Lindsey from changing her mind because of this child.

Soon after Zayn took Lindsey away, Liam Wilford, who was far from home, received the news.

"Idiot!"
