Zayn Guggenheim stretched out his hand and one by one pulled apart the fingers that were tugging on his sleeve, then walked out without looking back.
Parked at the front entrance, the car door of the Maybach was opened. Before Zayn got in, a small hand dragged him back.
"Mr. Guggenheim, as long as you can save the Juhl family, I’ll do anything for you."
Zayn frowned, shrugged off her hand with disgust, and sneered.
"You’ll do anything? What do you have to offer? Yourself?"
Lindsey Juhl's small face turned pale and was rendered speechless.
"Don't disgust me, Lindsey Juhl! Why do you think your family’s business has fallen to this point today?
“Did you wonder why companies that have been dealing with the Juhls for many years suddenly refused to continue their deal? Why did investors, one after another, withdraw their investments? Who do you think is behind all of this?
"Lindsey Juhl, listen carefully. If you hadn't been so desperate to marry me back then, I wouldn't have taken revenge against the Juhls! At this point, you're still begging me to help you? Don’t you think it’s funny?"
Lindsey heard every single word Zayn said clearly. The truth was so shocking that she stayed rooted on the spot without realizing he had left.
A group of spectators gawked behind her. Their gossip, along with Zayn's words pierced her heart.
--He must really hate her to this extent!
Just because she married him, he destroyed the entire Juhl family!
Among the Capital’s Ten Richest Families, it was not easy to destroy the ninth richest family, the Juhls, who was still far off from the Guggenheims!
Zayn’s hatred for her fueled him to spend every waking moment to take them down!
She was conflicted if she should be pleased she was worth the trouble or saddened by his effort to destroy her family...
