Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 146

Jenny Lenig struggled violently. She was slapped silly by Lindsey and only started to wail and cry after returning to her senses. She kept scratching Lindsey's arm that was dragging her. "Let go of me! You're a bad person! I don't like you! I don't want to play with you! Let go of me!"

She really acted like she was mentally unbalanced, who was completely unable to recognize Lindsey, not to mention the danger in front of her.

Soren watched from the side. He secretly praised Lindsey’s crisp, clean, and smooth slap. When he saw Jenny's constantly scratching hands, he finally realized his duty.

"Young Madam, let me."

Lindsey looked at him dubiously, but Soren did not say anything.

He reached out and yanked Jenny's hair while his other hand grabbed both of Jenny's arms and twisted them back. Lindsey only heard Jenny letting out a miserable scream as her whole body was held against the balcony railing, no longer capable of making a fuss.

She was not sure how much force Soren used, but he obviously found the right angle because Jenny’s arms were completely limp. Her hair was pulled so that her head unconsciously tilted back, revealing her entire face.

Jenny’s face was covered in tears as she cried like an aggrieved child. "It hurts...what are you guys doing? I'm in pain...let go of me...sob sob..."

Unfortunately, her tears did not work on these two people.

Even if she was really crazy, Lindsey would not let her go. Moreover, Lindsey was certain that she was just pretending to be mad.

"What do you think will happen if you fall from here?" Lindsey ignored Jenny’s tears and leaned against the railing with her arms folded. She watched coldly as Jenny cried her eyes out.

She was still crying and howling as if she could not understand what Lindsey was saying. Lindsey sneered and said, "I suddenly thought of something more fun."

Jenny ducked a little and her eyes revealed some fear. Lindsey turned to look at Soren. "Can you get someone to send in a bucket of water?"

A few moments later, a bucket of water filled to the brim was on the floor of the ward.

"Jenny Lenig, did you think that I died after jumping into the ocean? Sorry to disappoint, but I didn't die."

Lindsey instructed Soren to drag Jenny to the edge of the bucket. She then reached out to lift Jenny's chin. Looking at Jenny, the corners of her mouth hooked up into a cold smirk. "At that time, I was thinking that as long as I survive, I ought to let you experience what it’s like to gasp for air in the water."

Soren seemed to know what Lindsey wanted to do and loosened his hand that was pulling Jenny's hair. In the next second, Lindsey's hand flew to the back of Jenny's head and pressed it down into the bucket full of water.

Jenny kept struggling and twisting under Lindsey’s hands, but it was impossible to break free.

After a few moments, her struggle became weaker.

Lindsey silently counted to sixty before she yanked Jenny's hair again to pull her out of the water.

Jenny coughed violently. Water went down her windpipe and she even forgot to cry. She no longer looked at Lindsey like she was a stranger. Instead, her eyes were filled with hatred.

"Jenny Lenig, you finally can't keep up the act?" Lindsey smiled, but her eyes were cold. "Is it uncomfortable?"

Jenny could not say a word. Her nasal cavity was filled with water. People who had never experienced it did not know how terrible it felt to drown.

"This is just the beginning," Lindsey said one word at a time.

Then, she exerted some force in her hands and pressed Jenny's entire head in, then pulled her up again.
