Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 104

"Actually, Grandpa didn’t really want to interfere with Zayn's relationship. The boy's childhood was unfortunate, so I wanted to compensate him and gave him everything he wanted. In the beginning, I wasn’t so against Jenny Lenig."

The old man narrowed his eyes and recalled a memory. "When the two of them first got together, Jenny Lenig had no intention of being true to Zayn and just wanted to play with his feelings. Only Zayn thought she was sincere and thought of marrying her. Later on, after she got to know Zayn’s identity, she suddenly became dead set on him.

"Zayn hates people who approach him because of profit and Jenny Lenig’s purpose was just that. If Zayn didn't have his current status, she wouldn't even glance at him."

Lindsey did not expect this to be the reason. So Jenny did not have real feelings for Zayn?

However, this was their problem. If Zayn was willing to be used by Jenny, so be it. Lindsey had no right to interfere.

The old man patted her hand and said earnestly, "I just think that you and Zayn are good kids. It's fate that you can be together, so I hope you two can get along well."

Lindsey did not know what to say for a while. It was not up to her to decide whether the two of them could get along.

On the road, Zayn was driving without a destination in mind. He only said that he was going to the hospital out of impulse. The fact was that he did not visit Jenny for several days since she was recovering very well.

Lindsey’s indifferent attitude towards him coupled with his grandfather’s words agitated him.

The old man asked him to go home just to make them get a divorce?

At that time, Zayn's phone rang. It was a call from the hospital.

"President, Ms. Lenig is making a fuss wanting to be discharged from the hospital." After the call was connected, the doctor's eager voice came from the other side of the phone.

Zayn rubbed his temples and said in a cold voice, "I'll be right there."

The scenery outside flew by quickly. When Zayn rushed to the hospital, a bunch of doctors and nurses were surrounding Jenny.

"Ms. Lenig, it’s best to stay in the hospital for a few more days of observation. It's still too early to be discharged from the hospital." The doctor advised Jenny in a patient voice.

Jenny stood in the crowd without saying a word. When she saw Zayn, her eyes abruptly lit up. "Zayn!"

Zayn avoided Jenny’s hug and instructed others to leave before saying, "Why do you want to get discharged now?"

"I've already recovered, so why do I need to stay in the hospital? Besides, you haven't come to visit me these days."

Jenny sat on the bed and said with a bit of caution in her aggrieved tone.

The man in front of her did not have any reaction.

Jenny got a little anxious and asked, "Zayn, don't you care about me anymore?"

"What do you want?" Zayn finally opened his mouth, but the words that came out were cold and heartless.

"What do you mean by this?" Jenny’s face paled for a moment.

"You know very well what I mean."

"No, but Zayn, you’ve been so gentle to me these days. Zayn, we..."

The man's face was expressionless and Jenny knew how frightening his indifference was.

Jenny’s eyes were scheming as she said with a soft voice, "Zayn, do you really not know what I want?"

Zayn looked up at her. Jenny felt that she was looking at a stranger. She stepped forward and hugged Zayn. "I want you."

After saying that, Jenny lifted her head and kissed him without any consideration.

Her kiss was eager and Zayn was caught off guard. It was not until she unbuttoned his shirt and slipped her hands inside that Zayn returned to his senses and pushed her away.

Jenny fell to the ground at once. She looked at the man’s frigid face and said, "Zayn..."
