As soon as she got off the plane, Jasmine spotted her and whisked her into the car. Fiona noticed her eyes were red, with streaks of dried tears on her face, and handed her a tissue from her pocket.

"Dry your eyes, then tell me about Grandma," she said, her tone icy ever since the plane landed.
