Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1657

Yvenne wasn't exactly setting the academic world on fire, and if it weren't for her designer credentials, she'd be in a tough spot. Since sending her back wasn't an option, folks kept bugging Fiona, hoping Keaton might step in and take Yvenne off their hands.

But Yvenne wasn't clueless. She got what was going on and had zero plans to head back. If she did, her classmates in class nineteen would have a field day mocking her, not to mention the other students would pile on the ridicule.

She wasn't about to be anyone's laughingstock.

Fiona slid her phone back into her pocket and gestured toward a room in the office. "You'll be staying there for now. I'll get meals delivered to you. If there's something specific you want, just give me a holler, and I'll make sure it arrives with your next meal."

"Ms. Fiona, you can't keep me here," Erica shot a glare at Fiona, her eyes intense, like she was trying to read her mind. With a sneer, she continued, "I won't let you harm my baby. It's hard enough for me to get pregnant, and if something happens to this child, I won't let it slide."

"Suit yourself," Fiona replied with a slight smile, turning on her heel and leaving the hospital. She wasn't too worried about Erica stirring up trouble. Her real concern was Erica actually listening to her, which would mess up her plans.

Allen's move to bring his cousin for an abortion was fishy. A cousin gets pregnant, and instead of looping in the parents, her brother takes her to the hospital? Fiona wasn't born yesterday.

Back on campus, Fiona tracked down Nash. It was free time during gym class, and she casually threw an arm around Nash's shoulder.

"Nash, I want to check out the Woods family's media company."

Seeing that mischievous grin on Fiona's face sent a shiver down Nash's spine.

"What are you up to?" he asked warily, sneaking a glance at Fiona before going beet red.
