Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1584

Fiona had barely settled into her seat when the classroom door swung open. In walked Mr. Carter, accompanied by a fresh face.

“Alright, folks, meet Yvenne, our new transfer student. Let’s give her a big welcome!” he announced.

Yvenne had already been the talk of the cafeteria, catching eyes with her stunning looks. Now, as she walked into Class Nineteen, the applause was almost deafening.

“Yvenne’s top-tier in all her subjects and could have easily joined Advanced Class Four. So, let’s take a page out of her book,” Mr. Carter continued, rattling off her impressive grades. “I’m appointing her as our class rep.”

After the introductions, Mr. Carter turned to Yvenne with a smile, “Pick any seat you like.”

“Sir, I’d love to sit there,” she gestured towards the empty spot next to Tyler.

Mr. Carter paused, hoping she'd pick a front-row spot to stay engaged in class, but he let her decide. “Sure, it’s your call.”

In her pastel pink dress, with a light floral scent trailing after her, Yvenne glided over to her chosen seat.

Reaching Fiona’s desk, she lit up like the quintessential girl next door, “Hey Fiona, so this is your spot! We can study together now.”

The room burst into laughter.

“Study with Fiona? She’s legendary for either napping or gaming during class. Study buddies? Only in our dreams!”

“Well, you never know, she might just surprise us one day.”

“Don’t need it,” he muttered, already resting his head on the desk for a nap.

Meanwhile, Fiona emerged from her gaming haze, pulled off her headphones, and glanced around, slightly baffled. She shrugged it off, rested her head, and dozed off. Drama wasn’t worth her time, especially not when math class was a constant headache.

Every single math class was.

Throughout the session, Yvenne made sure she stood out. She was quick to raise her hand, answer questions, and ask about problem-solving techniques, leaving Mr. Smith, the math teacher, taken aback.

Class Nineteen was notorious for chatter over participation, so having someone like Yvenne was as surprising as a fish suddenly finding itself in water.

Mr. Smith quickly noticed Yvenne’s sharp mind. She grasped concepts with ease and could apply them creatively. Her talent was a rare find in Class Nineteen.
