Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1180

Abbey's face went as white as a sheet. "These guys are Eula's! Around here, it's Eula who calls the shots, not Mr. Adam! If you know what's good for you, drop the gun!"

She still thought Connor was one of Adam's men sent to deal with Flora.

Connor's demeanor turned even icier, a chilling aura radiating from him.

Abbey.

Back when she had hurt Flora's hand, Flora had barely escaped. And now, Abbey had the gall to show up again.

"You don't have the guts to shoot, do you?"

Abbey assumed she'd convinced him, feeling a bit smug and relieved, sneering, "Good, you're learning. Just tie Flora up and come with me, and you might get to keep your neck—"

She never got to finish that sentence.

Connor's finger relaxed on the trigger.

Bang!

A deafening shot!

A bullet struck Abbey right in the chest!

Connor's shot was sharp and precise. Abbey, too slow to react, stumbled back in shock. The bullet pierced her chest, missing her heart by a hair!

"Ah!"

Abbey crumpled to the ground, her face contorted in pain, drenched in sweat. As fear filled her eyes, Connor pulled the trigger again, this time aiming for her forehead.

"Sis!"

At that moment, a young boy's frantic voice echoed from outside!

Flora swiftly grabbed Connor's other hand at his waist, signaling him to hold back.

The boy burst in, his eyes widening at the sight of the bodyguards sprawled on the floor.

He rushed over to Flora. "Sis, are you okay?"

He didn't care if Flora was upset with him; he placed his hands on her shoulders, checking her for injuries.

Hearing this, the boy turned to Connor.

Connor nodded.

Abbey thought the boy would reprimand Connor, a smile creeping onto her face, only to see the boy nodding at Connor with approval. "Good job."

"I've always said, I won't let my sister get hurt. If that's the case, anything is worth sacrificing!"

Abbey's smile vanished, her whole body trembling with fury.

Why?

Why does Flora have so many people looking out for her?

And she, Abbey, gets nothing!

"Mr. Adam." An older man entered, flanked by a group of tall, imposing men.

Seeing the older man, Adam's face grew serious.
