Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 1788

Chapter 1788

The meeting was scheduled for nine o'clock. As the company's top brass sat there, straight as pins, they couldn't help but watch as their CEO, Charlie, cradled a little girl in his arms, multitasking between soothing her and participating in the meeting.

The little girl, who appeared to be around two years old, sat comfortably in Charlie's lap, scribbling on paper with his pen. A subtle resemblance to him was evident.

Had their CEO secretly gotten married and started a family?

Why hadn't they received any news about this before?

Should they pretend not to know, or should they make up for the missed wedding and baby gifts?

If they were to make amends, should they combine the wedding and baby gifts?

It was really hard for them to concentrate on today's meeting!

Only Gavin, sitting next to Charlie, had a knowing smile on his face.

After the meeting, Charlie stood up with little Kya in his arms and said calmly, “Stop being overly surprised. Just focus on your own work!"

Everyone's faces stiffened, "Yes!"

Charlie walked out with Kya. As everyone watched them leave, they turned to Gavin.

"Mr. Gavin, is that child really the CEO's?"

"When did the CEO get married?"

"Who is the CEO's wife? Is she from a distinguished family in J City?"

Gavin stood up, laughing, “What did our CEO just say? He said to focus on your work and stop gossiping!"

The manager of the business department said, "Mr. Gavin, at least give us a hint, so we have an idea."

He remembered Emily mentioning that she had a child.

Charlie’s attention was entirely on Kya, and he casually nodded, "Yeah."

"So you two are back together?" Gavin asked with a smile.

Charlie's handsome face remained unchanged, “We've always been good!"

Gavin didn't bother to argue, "You're in love with Emily, and by extension, you're treating her child as a treasure!"

Charlie leaned back in his chair, a hint of smugness in his relaxed demeanor, "She's my daughter!"

Gavin paused, "Are you serious?"

"Of course, she's my biological daughter!" Charlie said, his eyes full of pride.
