We didn’t need to explain what we did to the council, but they
would always know we were the ones who brought their
downfall. That fear would keep them from ever crossing us
again.
“Every alpha who supported you? They’re all getting expelled.
It’s nothing personal. No loyalty means they can’t be trusted,
and they’ll just do it again if they get the chance,” I said to
Xavier.
It didn’t matter that Xavier and I had found common ground.
These alphas had shown their true colors, and that was enough
for me to know they didn’t deserve a place by our side.
“I’m with you. We don’t need any of them. If we stay united,
there’s nothing we can’t take on together,” Matthew said, his
support unwavering.
“Since I’m stripping these people of their power, I trust you and
Grace to take charge of one of the packs. I can’t think of anyone
better for the job,” I said, acknowledging the hard work they’d
put in.

But honestly, I knew Grace and Violet wouldn’t last long
without clashes. Grace wasn’t one to follow orders, and I
couldn’t keep placing him in second place–he was meant to lead,
not follow.
“I’m fine without any title, really. I enjoy the quiet. But Grace,
she doesn’t handle being told what to do very well. We’re better
off being equals, leaders in our own right,” he said, always
putting his mate’s feelings first. I respected that.
“Do you think there’s any chance we could ever have a
relationship?” Xavier asked, his voice softer than I expected.
“It stings that you didn’t want to meet me before, but you’re my
brother now. And we’ll make it work, one way or another.” I
grinned.
Violet’s POV
Peace isn’t just something you feel–it’s something that you
know when it surrounds you.
The moment our car pulled up in front of the castle, I could
sense it in the air, like a warm embrace. I still don’t fully
understand how Asher managed to bring all this together
without anyone getting hurt, but when I got that call saying it

was time to come home, I didn’t hesitate for even a second.
Seeing him there, waiting at the castle’s entrance. This was my
dream come true.
Of course, things didn’t go exactly as I imagined, but that’s life, isn’t it? We’ve been through so much pain, so many losses, but here we are–stronger than we’ve ever been. Life has a way of teaching you not to take anything for granted.
We’ve lost more than we ever thought possible, and yes, we’ve
said goodbye to so many along the way. But in the end, we’ve
survived it all. Nothing can touch us now.
Olivia was the first to break away from the crowd, throwing herself into my brother’s arms. I couldn’t be happier for them.
Olivia was a shadow of herself without him.
On the other hand, Mia practically flew out of the car, landing straight into Asher’s arms.
I joined them, rushing over, and for a moment, it was just us- together, as a family.
“Here’re my girls,” Asher laughed, opening his arms for us.
After a tight hug, he led us into the castle. Inside, everyone was

already there, filling the space in a way that felt right. I felt it-
there’s potential here for new beginnings, for real connections.
I’ve grown, learned so much about myself, and now it’s time to
step up as a leader. I have no doubt I’ll make it.
“Let me introduce you to my brother, Xavier. Xavier, this is my
mate, Violet.”
I’d met him before, of course, but today, there was something
different about him. He seemed lighter, and it was good to see
him at peace with himself.
“I owe you an apology for our last encounter, Queen Violet,” he
slightly bowed, sounding genuinely regretful.
“No need to apologize,” I replied, offering him a small smile. “I’m
just glad you found your way back.” After all, everybody
makes mistakes, right?
“Mia, meet your uncle.” I called over my little girl, introducing
them, and I couldn’t help but chuckle as our daughter was
immediately fascinated by his beard.
“Can I touch it?” she asked, wide–eyed, and we all laughed. And I
knew from that moment–Xavier was going to be her favorite
uncle. The affection was clear in his eyes as he gently let her

explore.
Asher gave me a glance before he passed Mia into Xavier’s
arms. And as I looked at them, I realized sometimes it’s better to
give people space to grow and prove themselves. Mia, with her
innocent touch, had a way of doing just that.
“Hey girl!” I practically shouted in joy when I saw Olivia.
It wasn’t just the fact that I’d missed her; there was something
deeper–an unmistakable pulse of life.
“I’m going to be an aunt!” I squealed, hugging her tightly. I could
hardly believe all of this was happening to us at once, but I
couldn’t be more thankful for these blessings.
“I still can’t believe it,” she said, touching her belly. The joy in
her eyes was everything.
“Better believe it,” my brother grinned, pulling me into a hug. “I’m going to be a father.” It didn’t matter that it came later than
I’d expected. I was just glad it was happening.
“How are you going to juggle being a father and an uncle to
