Fated For Lycan's Luna novel Chapter 150

Blake's POV

It was five years ago when I saw the need to have another force that could become Silver Pack’s weapon for the enemies lurking in the dark.

But it took me several years to find the most suitable one.

Frost Fang Pack, a well known pack only heard on children’s stories and have never yet to appear for several generations already.

However, the knowledge about this pack was not known to others except for one person, Teacher Astor.

As a healer, he spent his years roaming over the lands to discover medicine and along the way heal the sick. One of his exploits was being able to heal the sole heir of the pack who is on the verge of losing his life to a rare disease.

Due to this, a connection was created between the two packs.

For the Silver Pack, it is both an honor and an opportunity.

For the Frost Fang Pack, it is a lifelong debt.

And so, while Silver Pack is in hiding, Teacher Astor, Arthur and I worked on collaborating with the Frost Fang pack to build a fake persona and try to infiltrate the Blood Hound Pack.

The collaboration, however, was not an easy task. As one wrong decision from our end would entail complete destruction of the two packs.

As such, it took us just recently to find the middle ground. Alpha Sabre finally relented to loan their names and identity while we, the Silver Pack proceed in caution.

Alpha Sabre’s mysteriousness and seclusion paved a way for us to easily deceive the Blood Hound Pack. As no one in the entire werekind knew who Alpha Sabre and the Frost Fang Pack were, I and the Silver Pack and freely posed as their people in any case.

Apart from that, the only distinguishing factor was the secret arts that only the Frost Fang Pack knew. With a compromise, Alpha Sabre allowed us to learn just a part of it, just enough to prove that our ‘skills’ really came from their pack.

As for the strongest and most important arts of the pack, of course, it is kept confidential within the true Frost Fang Pack.

When all agreements have been made and worked on, we slowly released the rumors and lured Alpha Kain to seek us himself. With that, the plan is on.

Finally this day arrived, the perfect moment to reveal ourselves in the open and announce the Frost Fang’s existence.

Being the most attractive and mysterious addition to the Blood Hound’s force, our status within Alpha Kain’s group will surely shoot straight to the inner circle. From there, we can move freely to destroy its core and ultimately take out the Blood Hound Pack and ALpha Kain’s little empire!

Arriving at the small banquet unannounced, I planned to display the Frost Fang Packs might and glory. However, the first thing I saw was her.

In an appearance that was totally different from the face I remembered, my mate’s presence almost made me lose my senses.

She stood in front of Alpha Kain wearing a facade that was fearful and nervous.

It was the first time in five years that I have seen her this close.

The moment the path was cleared, our eyes met. I felt my wolf howl in longing as I mustered all of my strength to reign in my desire to run to her and take her closely into my arms.

Fortunately, all my expressions were kept well hidden in the mask, but it is not enough to hide the real condition in my heart.

At Arthur’s words I quickly looked at the vial and realized that it was really as he said. My mind could still vividly remember how happy Chloe was when she gave me the small vial and its antidote when she finished it.

After we separated, I always took them with me as a memento.

Listening to Chloe’s alibi, I already knew what I had to do to intervene and that is to authenticate what she really claimed.

However, who is Alpha Kain? He wasn’t someone whose anger could be appeased by mere explanation.

And so, without prompting Arthur and my companions, I immediately stepped in and interrupted Alpha Kain’s outburst.

Everyone, including Alpha Kain and Chloe looked at me in disbelief. Arthur kept sighing in my head through the mind link.

“Pardon my rudeness from interrupting you, my Lord. But I can testify that the vial that Alpha Aira owned is really a medicine for first aid!”

As I told this, I took out the vial and showed it to everyone causing an awkward silence.

But my actions did not stop there as I looked toward the table and took a knife. Without giving anyone a chance to exclaim, I cut my palms letting the blood flow freely.

“What are you doing Blake!” Suddenly a voice rang in my mind through mindlink but it did not stop me from executing the next move as I knew that it would only take such a drastic move to kill Alpha Kain’s suspicion.

With the gaping wound in my palm, I poured Chloe's poison in my hand.
