Falling For My Contractual Wife (Brian and Grace) novel Chapter 819

Serena returned to the living room and picked up the phone on the table.

There was a WhatsApp message from Justin five minutes ago. [I bought you medicine. Remember to take vitamins every day.]

She opened the box. Inside was a contraceptive pill and a bottle of vitamins.

She smiled bitterly, turned on her camera, and recorded a video of her taking the contraceptive pill. She sent it to him and said nothing more.

Serena looked at herself in the mirror and suddenly felt that the marks on her body were glaring as if reminding her that she was like a joke.

She didn't go out for three consecutive days, and the marks on her body slowly dissipated. Only after that did she leave the house to buy some vegetables to cook at home.

Her eyes were always on her phone for the past three days, but not a single message had come from him.

The last message on their WhatsApp chat interface was the video she had sent him.

She realized that it was over between them.

Serena squatted on the sofa and burst into tears.

As she cried, there was a knock on the door. She opened the door with her swollen eyes.

A familiar, warm face appeared at the door. Her tears hung on her face as she stared at him blankly.

Justin didn't expect Serena to be crying.

For a moment, both of them stood rooted to the ground.

He hadn't appeared for three days and there hadn't been any news of him. Now, he suddenly appeared. 'Is he here to ask for a divorce?' Serena wondered.

At the thought of this, Serena burst into tears.

When Justin saw her suddenly cry, he panicked and didn't know what to do. "Serena... You, what's wrong?"

Serena turned around and went back into the house. She sat on the sofa and tried to sniffle, trying to control her tears, but she couldn't.

At the thought that this short marriage was about to end, she couldn't stop crying.

Serena ran into her bedroom, crying as she changed her clothes.

Looking at herself in the mirror, she wiped her tears fiercely and told herself silently, 'It's okay. It's the last dinner. I'm afraid we'll never see each other again. Now that he can be so cold to Angie, he can also be that cold to me.'

Serena closed her eyes, adjusted her emotions, and left the room.

The two of them arrived at a restaurant near the neighborhood.

During the meal, she ate silently, as if her mind was elsewhere. She didn't pick up any food for a long time.

Justin put a few pieces of beef and other meat onto her plate. "Didn't you say you wanted to eat meat?"

Serena looked at the food on her plate and felt a pang of sadness in her heart. She nodded and put the meat into her mouth.

After dinner, the two of them walked back in silence.

When they reached the entrance of the residential area, Serena suddenly stopped. "If you want to say something, you can say it here."
