The next day.
Sunlight spilled into the car window. Serena's clothes were torn into a mess, barely covering her body as she curled up on the seat.
Justin slowly opened his eyes. A sharp pain came from his temple.
He frowned in discomfort and raised his hand to block the sunlight.
Serena bit her lip tightly. Her trembling fingers exposed her uneasiness.
Memories flooded his mind. Justin suddenly sat up straight.
His mind instantly went blank when he saw the figure in the corner.
Her body was too small, and her clothes couldn't hide the ambiguous marks on her body. She looked especially pitiful.
Justin looked at her for a long time before finally saying, "I'm sorry."
Serena raised her head and looked at him, waiting for him to speak. However, after he apologized, he didn't say another word.
She thought back to last night. He was doing the most intimate thing with her but called out Grace's name, filling her heart with bitterness.
She pursed her lips in self-mockery and pretended to look up at him casually. "Justin, you don't have to apologize. I did it willingly."
Even so, she didn't want him to feel any psychological burden.
Justin turned his head slightly and saw that her inner thigh was stained with faint blood.
He closed his eyes briefly. "I'll drive you back."
"Okay."
He didn't say a word throughout the entire process.
The car quietly drove to Serena's neighborhood. Her clothes were torn to shreds. Therefore, Justin took off his coat and put it on her.
He suddenly realized that she was so thin and small. His suit looked like a short skirt on her.
'Why would I do that last night?' She thought the relationship between them was probably finished.
He didn't mention how they should deal with their relationship or say anything like he would be responsible.
Serena dragged her tired feet into the bathroom. After taking a bath, the doorbell suddenly rang.
Her eyes lit up as Justin's face flashed across her mind. She ran to open the door without even putting on her shoes.
"Jus..."
"Miss Logan, right?" A delivery man stood at the door.
The smile on Serena's face froze. "Yes, I am."
"This is your medicine." The delivery man handed her the paper bag.
Serena seemed to have guessed what was inside, and her face instantly turned pale. She said to him in a trembling voice, "Thank you."
