Serena's heart was beating a little fast. She held her heart and secretly let out a breath.
Ten minutes later, the car stopped outside Serena's neighborhood.
Justin's gaze fell on the steering wheel. He slowly turned to look at her. "I've thought it through."
Serena held her breath nervously.
"Let's go to city hall tomorrow," said Justin.
Serena's mind was in a daze. She was still in a daze after she left the car and entered the neighborhood.
She repeated Justin's words countless times in her mind. But she still couldn't believe what Justin had said.
Until a text message from Justin came in. "Tomorrow at 10 a.m. I'll pick you up and take you to city hall."
Serena looked at the words "city hall" and saw them clearly on her phone screen. Justin sent the message to her.
That night, Serena was so nervous that she didn't sleep.
When Justin called and said he was already waiting for her downstairs, she got out of bed and quickly picked out clothes from the wardrobe.
'They usually wear white shirts when they take wedding photos, don't they?' With this thought in mind, Serena searched for a long time before finally finding a white shirt. She could only blame herself for wearing doctors' white coats too much and not buying many clothes.
After putting on her clothes, she sat in front of the mirror and touched up her makeup. She smiled at the mirror and felt that the smile was perfect. She picked up all the required documents she prepared last night and went downstairs.
On their way to city hall, Serena held the documents tightly and looked calm on the surface, but her heart was already in turmoil.
At city hall, Justin calmly completed the procedures and signed his name.
Serena looked at the application form and picked up the pen with trembling fingers.
Justin looked at her side profile and said, "Why don't we forget it?"
Serena was stunned. "Huh?"
"You're not ready for this, right?"
Alicia looked inside. "Is Grace here?"
"Yes."
Grace turned around when she heard the voice. She asked in surprise, "Alicia, what brings you here?"
Alicia smiled and entered the house with bags in her hands. "I'm here to see you and the child."
Austin's body shrank slightly when she saw the stranger.
Grace comforted Austin and stood up to greet her. "Have you recovered?"
"No, but it's fine," Alicia said. She glanced at Austin, smiled, and asked, "Austin, what are you drawing? Can you show it to me?"
Austin pursed her lips and did not speak. Her eyes were guarded.
Seeing that Austin was silent, Alicia waved the things in her hand again. "Look, I brought you gifts. Do you like the princess dress?"
