Dumping The Ice King His Mini-Tyrant novel Chapter 492

Leo slid his untouched glass of water across the table.

Adrian set down his own cup, flashing a playful grin. “Thanks, but I’m good. I don’t need any more.”

Leo’s tone was frosty. “I thought you had a thing for drinking from other people’s glasses.”

Adrian’s smile only brightened. “Leo, you’ve got it all wrong. I only like drinking from glasses that Selene has used.”

Selene had been quietly amused, thinking Adrian was just a bit like a mischievous cat, always reaching for someone else’s drink. But when she realized what he’d actually said, her cheeks erupted in a fierce blush.

How could Adrian just blurt that out in front of Leo?

“You—” She wanted to scold him.

But as soon as she met his gaze, she saw Adrian looking at her with those pleading, starlit eyes—still rimmed red from his recent coughing fit. He looked so hopeful, she couldn’t bring herself to say anything harsh.

“Don’t act like this in front of the professor…” she tried to whisper.

Before she could finish, Adrian nodded eagerly. “Alright, alright, I’ll be good. I’ll do whatever you say.”

He leaned in close, closing the distance between them, and spoke softly in her ear—though loud enough for Leo to hear. “Someone as stiff as Leo could never understand the fun we have together.”

Leo’s expression was icy, as stern as a headmaster reprimanding a student. “Selene, if you don’t like something, you can say no.”

Adrian cupped his flushed cheeks, grinning cheekily at Leo. “So, if she doesn’t say no, does that mean she likes it?”

Selene jolted, her whole body suddenly aflame.

Leo shot Adrian a cold, withering glare.

Adrian just smirked. “You know, Leo, you’re really starting to brighten up. Like a high-wattage lightbulb—lighting up the whole room.”

“Adrian.” Selene hissed his name, trying to rein him in.
