Dumping The Ice King His Mini-Tyrant novel Chapter 336

Harrison felt as if he’d been dropped onto a battlefield—one thick with invisible smoke, tension swirling in the air. Luke Holloway’s eyes were dark and wild, glinting with a predator’s fury.

The air inside the elevator froze.

Luke’s voice sliced through the silence, low and commanding. “Put Selene down. Now.”

He blocked the elevator doors, making it clear Harrison wasn’t getting out of there.

Harrison had no choice. He set Selene down.

Selene clutched her chest, fighting a wave of nausea. For a moment, she wanted nothing more than to vomit all over Harrison, but the bile caught painfully in her throat and she swallowed it down.

Luke reached out, pulling Selene behind him.

“Harrison,” he said coldly, “do you even know what ‘get lost’ means?”

Luke repeated the phrase in his mind, forcing himself to remember that murder was illegal, or he might have given in to the urge to smash Harrison’s head against the elevator wall.

But Harrison didn’t budge.

Instead, he held out a brown envelope to Luke.

“Take a look.”

Luke frowned, clearly unwilling to accept anything from Harrison.

Selene spoke first. “Do you really think something as petty as a urology report could affect my partnership with Adrian? You’re being naive.”

Harrison’s eyes narrowed, catching something in her tone. He pressed, “You’re not actually dating Adrian, are you? You two aren’t together?”

Selene said nothing. Harrison persisted, “If you really cared about him, wouldn’t you be upset about him seeing a urologist?”

Selene’s expression turned icy. They were divorced—she owed Harrison nothing, least of all patience or a smile. Still, if word got out that her relationship with Adrian was just a contract, it could threaten the acquisition deal.

“You know, violating someone’s privacy is disgusting, but that’s just who you are, isn’t it? Since you’re so interested in his urology visit, I’ll be honest: we got a little too wild, and that’s why he had to see a doctor.”

A buzzing noise exploded in Harrison’s head, as if someone had set off a fire alarm right next to his ear.

Harrison stepped out of the elevator. “Let’s go. If we hurry, we might catch Adrian at the clinic.”

Selene pressed her lips together. With Luke by her side, she couldn’t risk calling Adrian to warn him.

She didn’t fully understand why Adrian needed to see a urologist, but whatever private problem he had, it shouldn’t be subject to this kind of scrutiny.

Selene and Luke sat quietly in the backseat while Harrison drove them to the hospital.

The black sedan slid into the underground parking lot and, just as they stepped out, they spotted Adrian emerging from the elevator.

Harrison swung open the car door and strode toward him.

When he was four or five meters away, Harrison stopped, waiting for Adrian to approach.

With one hand stuffed arrogantly in his pocket, he called out, his voice dripping with contempt, “So, what did the doctor say? Are you still functioning?”
