Dumping My Ex to Flash Marry the Untouchable CEO novel Chapter 1739

“No, no, I really can’t!”

Megan rejected the idea loudly.

She never expected Aurora to have even more energy than she did, walking faster than her and powering through the day as if she had endless stamina.

They had gone from one shop to another, more than twenty in total, and Aurora hadn’t even lost her breath once.

She looked like she could still climb ten flights of stairs without slowing down.

Meanwhile, Megan felt like she’d aged fifty years on the spot, her strength completely drained.

By the time they reached the fifth shop, her excitement had already turned into dread.

But Aurora beside her was still full of life.

Watching her, Megan couldn’t help but marvel.

How could Aurora have so much energy? She looked practically radiant.

“Aurora, I really want to go home. I don’t want to stay out anymore.”

Megan felt utterly defeated.

She never imagined she’d want to leave so badly.

At first, she thought this place was fun and refreshing.

But after roaming the city with Aurora, she realized it wasn’t all that different from their hometown.

Everything they saw felt the same, and instead of dragging herself around, she might as well head home and sort out things there.

Aurora asked again, seriously, “You’re not going to claim I didn’t show you a good time, are you?”

“Of course not!”

Megan’s expression turned solemn.

“I’ll tell my parents you took me everywhere, that you did an amazing job, and that I’ve pretty much explored everything here. There’s nothing left that interests me.”

She pressed her palms together in mock begging. “Aurora, please, I’m begging you. I really want to go back.”

“Alright then.”

Aurora agreed reluctantly.

And the moment Megan heard it, it felt like a royal pardon had been granted.
