"Annie Ainsworth orchestrated this?"
The reporters instantly pivoted their cameras toward Annie.
While Ebony Fox had been the prime suspect, at the end of the day, she had Juniper and Shanley backing her.
These lowly journalists, in their pursuit of the "truth," didn't dare cross the line too far with her.
Who would have thought this would involve the Ainsworth family?
Now this was something they could definitely broadcast wildly and pull in massive ratings!
"What proof do you have?"
Annie wasn't the least bit flustered. She checked the time. In ten more minutes.
Wayne would "succumb to the pressure" and be forced to commit suicide.
Once he was dead, what evidence would be left?
"If you can't produce evidence, I'm going to sue you for defamation," Annie smirked, mocking her. "Though, compared to your blatant disregard for human life, that charge is a drop in the bucket."
"Evidence?"
Ebony Fox slowly stood up, sliding her hands into her pockets. Her dark eyes locked onto Annie as she enunciated every word, "I have plenty. Which piece would you like to see first?"
Annie stared at Ebony Fox. The other woman was far too calm, leaving Annie momentarily uncertain about how much truth her words held.
This entire scheme had been meticulously planned. How could anyone possibly find any proof?
Furthermore—
The biggest piece of evidence, Wayne, was still squarely in her grasp.
She had absolutely nothing to fear.
"Alright, let's not waste everyone's time. I'll get this show on the road."
Ebony Fox jutted her chin toward Polly.
Soon after.
Two men in black suits appeared, half-carrying a man whose legs were too weak to support him.
"Isn't that the guy from the video? The gym member who beat up Wayne?"
"Yes, it's him. The mole on his forehead is exactly the same."
