Yerick sighed and lowered his head, looking somewhat dejected. "Rose, can you not break my heart? You know that only I know where the video is. If I get angry, I might not give it to you. How are you going to deal with Sebastian then?"
"You..." Rosalie's anger flared. "What do you want?"
"I just want to have a chat with you, Rose. Now that Sebastian is out of the picture, will you choose Justin or Theodore?"
"I choose you, okay? You freak!" Rosalie tightened her grip on the phone and gritted her teeth.
Yerick was flattered. "Rose, you make me so happy when you say that." Even though he knew it was a lie.
"Yerick, I'm begging you. Give me the video."
"Rose, you really like Justin, don't you? When you thought he died, you must have been in despair. It was like you lost your soul, didn't you?"
Rosalie's hand trembled.
Yerick continued, "Tell me, is that true?"
"So what? Yes, I like Justin. Are you satisfied now?"
Yerick didn't look happy, but rather dispirited. "In the end, you fell for him. That's really infuriating. He should've just died."
Rosalie immediately retorted, "He won't die. He'll live well!"
"Really?" Yerick chuckled. "Rose, we don't know what will happen in the future. Maybe next time he'll die for real. How many times can a person escape death?"
"Yerick, people like you are really pathetic! If you won't give me the video, then forget it. This is the last time we're meeting. Just rot in prison."
Though she said she wasn't bothered, she couldn't stop thinking about Yerick's words—How many times can a person escape death?
Theodore and Rosalie arrived at the place. To be cautious, Theodore had already sent people in ahead of time to check and avoid any traps.
It was an empty bungalow without any signs of life. They could even hear the echo of their voices inside.
In a drawer, there was a phone, but it was out of battery. However, there was a charger nearby, as if it had been prepared.
After charging for a while, Theodore turned the phone on. There was no password, and the files inside could be accessed immediately.
Suddenly, a video popped up, and Yerick's face appeared on the screen.
"Rose, when you see this video, maybe I'm already dead. But perhaps I'm lucky and still alive. Is Theodore beside you? I'll assume he is. You're seeing this video because I told you where the phone is. Aren't I great? But, if you want to catch Sebastian, it's not that simple. He's already on his way out of the country."
