"This isn't a family affair!" Rosalie yelled. "Theodore Spencer, Grandma is dead and someone caused her death. This isn't a domestic issue anymore. Don't use that phrase as an excuse! You're clearly defending Aurora, and you're the real reason why Grandma is turning in her grave!"
"I'm not defending her," Theodore explained. "We just haven't clarified the situation yet, so you can't just falsely accuse another!"
"Hahaha," Rosalie chuckled bitterly. "Me, falsely accusing another? Theo, are you sure you're not defending her? How could you be such a lowlife?"
"You…" Theodore was furious. "Rose, I give in to you in all things, but that doesn't mean you can insult me like that!"
"Was I wrong to say that? You're a lowlife and a fool at that!"
Everything Theodore did was a test of her limits. He even shoved her away just to defend Aurora.
"Hey! What did you just say?" Angie snarled.
Upon hearing Theodore getting insulted, she couldn't hold herself back. She charged toward Rosalie and pointed a finger at the latter.
"You're the lowlife! See the number of men surrounding you? There are one, two, three of them, you promiscuous, cheap whore!"
Angie was speaking up for Theodore, but her words infuriated everyone there. The men surrounding Rosalie glared daggers at Angie, fire burning in their eyes.
Sebastian, without hesitation, stepped forward and slapped her. He slapped her so hard, she collapsed on the ground, her cheek swelling up fast.
"Where did this bitch come from? She has quite a filthy mouth. You're the promiscuous, cheap whore. What number are you in Theodore's long line of women? With such an ugly and foul-mouthed woman like you, his taste is getting worse!" Sebastian sneered.
"You, you…you…" Angie was burning with fury. "How dare you hit me!"
"Theo, she hit me!" Angie crawled up to her feet and grabbed Theodore's sleeve, her arms swinging to and fro as she acted coquettishly before him. "Stand up for me!"
She was Aurora's cousin, after all. Since Theodore defended Aurora, he should naturally defend her, too.
Upon seeing the two of them trying to make a fast escape, Rosalie immediately said, "They can't leave!"
She was about to chase after them when Theodore stopped her in her tracks.
"Rose, we can't look into the matter properly right now. Let's talk when we get back. Even if the two of them had a hand in this, we have to investigate things clearly first. How can you spout nonsense without concrete proof?"
"Theodore Spencer, are you bent on defending them?"
"Rose, I'm not defending them…"
He cared nothing for Angie, and was mainly concerned about Aurora.
"Don't call me that! You're not fit!" Rosalie yelled, furious. "Theodore Spencer, you're not fit!"
