Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1162

"Aurora really doesn't have the motive," Theodore argued. "Even if she did it, why would she say that during the funeral? Rose, you really might be overwhelmed with grief and misheard them. I'm very heartbroken over Grandma's death too, and I can understand how you feel. I'll send you back so you can rest."

With that, he grabbed Aurora's hand and tried to take her away.

Just then, Rosalie saw a smirk on Aurora's face. She saw it clear as day, and could sense the wickedness and smugness in that smirk.

"She's the one, she's the one!" Rosalie snarled.

She shoved Theodore away with strength she didn't know she had, and pounced viciously on Aurora. She grabbed Aurora and gave the offending woman a hard slap, pressing Aurora down on the ground.

"You're the one who caused Grandma's death! You're the one!" she yelled.

"Rose!"

Some men stepped forward, trying to stop Rosalie, but Theodore beat them to it. He hugged Rosalie from behind and pulled her away. "Enough! Don't be like this!"

After pulling Rosalie away, he hurriedly helped Aurora up to her feet.

"Ahhh!" Rosalie lost her balance and stumbled backward. Her body swayed, and she was on the verge of collapsing on the ground.

"Rose!" Theodore reached out to pull her back, but it was too late.

At the very last moment, a black figure rushed forward like an arrow and caught Rosalie from behind, preventing her from landing on the ground.

Rosalie fell onto a broad chest. Turning around, she saw a handsome but pale face.

"Justin! What are you doing here?"

Sebastian and Yerick had wanted to catch Rosalie, but Justin beat them to it. Annoyed by his interception, the two hurried forward to show her their concern.

"You think I'm kicking up a fuss? While Aurora's all calm, vulnerable, and innocent? Just say that you're defending her! Quit using Grandma as an excuse. Grandma's already dead. If there really was foul play, we should get to the bottom of the matter, lest she cannot rest in peace."

Rosalie finally saw things clearly. So what if she kept backing down? It would only let the wicked have their way.

"Enough!" Theodore cut her off. "Rose, when did you become like this? You didn't use to be like this! Grandma doted on you so much! Must you make her turn in her grave? Come back home with me."

Theodore reached out to grab her hand.

"Don't touch her!" Justin snarled, pulling Rosalie behind him and shoving Theodore aside. "Keep your distance from her, you dumbass bastard!"

Fire burned in Theodore's chest.

"Justin, what business is this of yours? You're but an outsider! This is between my family and Rose, and you're just…"
